I have autocrossed in 100+ temps, in below freezing temps with patches of ice, in rain so hard I could not see the next gate with the wipers on high. Once in Alabama, we shut down, and got out of there in a hurry and a tornado passed right over the filed.

This will be my first night time autocross. My first autocross was on February 18th 1976. Still love doing them.

Could be fun. But only as a ride along.

I figure Io have done over 200 autocrosses in my 911 since 1995 when I bought it. It one main reason I own it.

So, on the way to work the side windows were collecting condensation from the a/cblowing on them and the heat and humidity outside.

That happened to my 911 in Savanna, GA to my 911. I got out of the car after driving for an hour and the entire car was covered in dew, and it was like a beer pulled from the fridge. Nothing else around had dew, but 911. The AC was cranked to max cold.

Have fun moving crap!

I remember the era my 20s an 30s when all my friends were moving into different apartments, and helping them move. Beer and pizza was the expected reward for the help, and they get to help me move. One chick did not buy any beer, and the pizza had pineapple on it. Barf. When she asked the next time, nope, I was busy washing my hair. Also the age of going to lots of weddings.

Now I am at the age where I go to funerals of my friends. Moving crap sucks, but funerals are worse.

Well at least this is for my own kid. No pizza or beer. Both are off limits for now.

As a long time computer user that lived through the dial-up era, I am just blown away with file transfer speed in the real world of today.

I just uploaded a gigabyte of data to a vendor and it was done in just a few minutes. I remember the first time I download a one megabyte file and it took "only" 12 minutes. At those speeds it would have taken over 8 days to upload, and it would have never worked at all due to dropped connections. It just staggers my imagination how far data transmission has come.

Of course I stream 4K Dolby surround sound movies and it is just no big deal. A DVD movie was 4.7 Gig and that was a huge file once upon a time.

Morning all. Well all the heavy large objects were moved across town to storage. They have to finish boxing up the small stuff and move it this week. So now its back to work for now.

I had fun all day yesterday doing the prep for my colonoscopy this morning.

Some of the worst was setting the alarm for 1:50 AM to wake up, and go mix another batch 20 ounces of water and the powder with some flavoring in it. And I had too suck it down in 5 to 10 minutes. Screw 5 minutes, I wanted to go back too bed, so I drank it all in 60 seconds or so. Then back to bed, get up twice to visit the throne room, and then up at in the shower at 5:30 to get to the hospital by 6:30 to fill out lots of paperwork, then wait for 45 minutes to go to the prep room, put on the hospital gown, and wait until 8:00 for the doc too come in and talk to me.

I got the nice Michael Jackson special IV and off to sleep.

Everything came out OK!

No polyps, or bad things in there. Come back in 5 years to do it again, oh joy.

Don't worry. When you hit 80, they won't do it anymore. I suppose they think you may have more immediate things to worry about.
