As expected I was in propranolol happy land when the doctor came in and gave his report. He left a printout of his instructions and findings. My favorite part is, and I have in in writing, they pumped in air, and some expelling of air is to be expected and encouraged. So I am under doctors orders to fart, and he did not put a time limit on that!

He did say I can wait 10 years for my next colonoscopy, so I have another 10 years to fart to get that air our, and I am under doctors orders to let em rip.

Limited carbs and sugar. So no fun at all.

At least a decent steak and some cheeses are ok then. The lean, not fatty stuff.

Actally it's not fun, but you can modify you preferences & over time (if you're serious about your effort) they will change. I had high blood sugar and cut down a lot on sweet food intake. I just mostly cut out things like cake, ice cream, cookies, pie, etc. After a while if I ate something high in sugar, I felt kind of uncomfortable for quite a while afterwards. Thst has kind of encouraged me to continue not eating sweets. I eat something sweet when I really want it, but get that uncomfortable feeling afterward, which discourages me from doing it very often. My A1c went down to 5.9 from the mid sixes.
I'm now in that age group that doesn't get colonoscopized any more. My dad died as a result of colon cancer, so I'm glad I don't have to be overly concerned anymore.

That is what I am doing now along with meds to push the A1C down to lower levels.

My instructions said the day prior to the prep day, to avoid fatty meats, Peas, beans, lentils, All nuts anything high fiber, all dried fruit, and coconut, corn, squash, tomatoes, onions, Brussels sprouts, lettuce, cabbage, olives, pickles, and POPCORN.

And a lot more.

It did not mention cheese curds. But avoid any jams, marmalades, relishes, and juices with pulp.

We have NICE weather this morning. It was 65 degrees earlier. Mow the yard time, but again so much dew the yard is wet. I will get after it shortly, wet or not.

I already had the bosses wife prodding me outside to replace the Koi pond pump. The old one was a emergency buy at a big box store. It has lasted, but does not put out the volume it is supposed to. The new pump does just like it is supposed to. Fortunately the very good looking, modest and humble genius that set up the last pump made it really easy to swap the pumps. Just unscrew the fitting, and screw it onto the new pump. Tada!

Yea, when we had the pond installed I was still working at a regular job. She knew it was a huge job to dig the hole, haul away all the dirt, put in the liner, and bring in tons of rock. She knew to hire it done. They built a nice pond, but the $$&^#^%!)(# glued every singe part together. The first pump that died was a real chore to get out and I had to re-plumb a lot of that area. I put in two standard universal joints to allow the pump to be removed, but those universal joints are a chore to open and screw back into place. I finally found a simple quick connect hose that is a scaled down version of whet the fire department uses. Just two levers, and it is off, or back in place. Easy peazy.

two levers? Sounds like a cam-loc coupling.

Hmm, a great big red tool chest was just dropped off at our house. Delivery guy asked if it had tools in it already since it was heavy. I said that sadly, no.

Yep, pretty much. It is made of some fancy plastic since it is underwater all the time, and has little real pressure to deal with. It is super easy to take it off or hook it up.

ARGH!

Why do customers not answer a direct simple question about their order?

I have sent links to him that are the FTP links to the final images. I asked him too let me know if he can download them without issues, as so many organizations have an IT department that block all FTP links as a default, and the client never even sees the email. I have asked him three times to let me know he is getting them, and he replies with other questions or requests, and no answer to my question. WTF.

I delivered the prints yesterday, and I guess I should have brought a thumb drive with the files on them. I like to wait until the project is done to be 100% sure I get them the final version with all the proper cropping done. I forgot to bring the thumb drive, and now I have to FTP them. I may just drive over there with a thumb drive and be done with it.

If he would just answer the question, did he get them downloaded?

Argh,

Who knows what is up. I have seen people who read emails way to fast then ask a question that if they had just read a little slower they would have had the answer.
