Maybe around $5.50/gal for 87 octane.

I tried to go to Costco this morning. It's normally about 40-50 cents/gal cheaper than the other local gas stations. The line can be long, but once a week I start work at 0600, so I can swing by on my way in. I've been doing this for 14 years, because there is never a line at 0530. Until today. Today there was a line out to the street. So each of the 8 lines for the pumps had 5 or 6 cars waiting.

I filled up the 911 yesterday. The gasohol was $3.89 but I would only use that in a rental car, never in my cars. Premium 100% gasoline was $4.38 a gallon. I believe it is the first time I ever paid more than 4 bucks a gallon. It was close to that in downtown Monterey, CA when I was there 2014, but that was at a place near the warf, and I just wanted a few gallons to have a full tank to set off for home.

We have one more day of wonderful weather and this evening it turn to crap for a day. Back to nice for the weekend, but cold mornings. Our first autocross of the year is Sunday.

I think I paid $5.2999999999/gal at Costco for the cheap stuff. $57 to fill up the Civic. That's the most I've ever spent to do so, I think. Thank goodness it averages 34-36 mpg.

Damn white crap is falling. 3 or 4 inches so far. I am glad to just stay home.

My sense of what day is it has been messed up for weeks. Doing things like going to Enid on a Monday, and last night we knew the weather was not conducive to going out to eat on our Friday night "date" night, so we did that last night. It was amazing how empty the restaurant was on Thursday night, as any random Friday in the past when we at there it was packed.

So tip tip, go out to eat on Thursday night not Friday night!

It is supposed to be sunny all weekend, and get to the 50s and 60s.

Morning all. Its Friday finally.

So you need an app on your phone to remind you not only of the time but the day and date. Be nice if they had one....................

My wristwatch has displayed all the time, the day, the day, month and year, phase of the moon and even the time! Phase of the moon it for sure the least important information I can imagine to have on a watch. I have never once in my life wondered what phase the moon is in. With a few button pushes I can see the state of the tides. That is some really useless information living in Oklahoma. It has a compass and a altitude readout as well. Again, living in central Oklahoma, I can tell it is an average elevation of 1,200 feet above mean seal level, and the cardinal directions are usually pretty easy to figure out.

It still seems like Saturday to me, so I will enjoy two Saturdays and a Sunday this weekend.

The snow has stopped falling, and the streets are melting. Well, the one in front of my house is. I have not gone outside yet.

My wife has decided to "let" me do the oil changes on the Macan. To do that it needs a computer tool to reset the Macan and let it know I did the oil change. So after research we bought a Autel MaxiCheck MX808. It does have a WI-fI connection to update the software. It is the first thing I have ever bought that came set up in Spanish. I had to poke some buttons to get the main parts into English and Imperial measurements. Many other parts are still in freaking Spanish. Nothing wrong with Spanish, except I don't speak or read it.

I am doing the updates now, so hopefully it will get converted to English.

Having fun now.

I had to get up really early to get to downtown OKC by 8:00 AM. Find a place to park, and then walk down stairs 6 floors to a tunnel.

OKC has a lot of tunnels in downtown connecting the major buildings. For Covid, they had me walk down one tunnel to find the first open spot and stand in line. Then just like kindergarten, move forward 15 people at a time. Eventually we got to the courthouse entrance. Through security, down another long hall, more stand in line, finally check in, find a seat, fill out the form and sit.
The chief judge tells us we are all reserve jurors, and get to sit here all day with some breaks and lunch time.
Likely we will be released tomorrow afternoon unless there is a mistrial and a new jury needs to be selected.

Golly this is fun. At least the seat is comfortable and I have my cell phone. I sure wish I had my headphones. They have HGTV on and some BS show on. I wish they would turn it off. Some female type is looking at rooms in a house and just keeps screaming it is wonderful. They need to gag her. Not my type of show. I am trying to ignore it but she sounds like she is getting murdered.

They called several dozen names and told them they were done for today, but to report to Juvenile Court tomorrow morning. All the names they called were women. Only women stood up and one at a time, went to the clerk, and got a page of instructions for tomorrow.

Golly if it fun to sit in a large room full of citizens. I need Need a nap!

Who hooo. I escaped!

Well actually they called my name along with 20 or so others, and said they were done with us and to GTFO. So I did. I am eating lunch at the Toby Keith’s restaurant called I love this bar and grill.

Yea, the guy that let us go said they draw names for the Jury Duty pool from driver's licenses. the odds are low for any one year, but my we might get picked again next year. He then said for the next 5 years we don;t have to serve, so if we don't want to serve we can call and they will pull up the records and excuse us for the next 5 years. Also, once the magic age of 70 is reached, it become an option if the citizen wants to server on jury duty or not.

I can see that someone that is not physically able to stand and walk up stairs or sit for hours at a time would have a difficult time coping with it. It was just a big time waste for me. I was ready to send someone to jail, or hang em high! Unless she was a hot chick, then she gets off.
