Mt Scott is a fun one too. Good luck catching that road with little traffic though. Some really good slab climbing towards the top too. That granite is HELL on fingertips though....

Kaiser Permanente can kiss my ass. I had to switch from a PPO to HMO a few years ago because the premiums were getting out of hand. Without going into too many details, I have yet to use Kaiser, but they will send me a survey in the mail periodically and call. I toss the surveys and thought that I was off the call list. About 3 weeks ago, I started getting calls in the evening, every other night. I never answered, but always from the same number. I finally Googled the number a few days ago and found out it was Kaiser - which I had assumed. Last night I lost it and called my dad to tell him that this needs to stop or I need to switch insurance co's. He tells me to answer the call and answer with "I can't answer that" to all the questions, I don't want to do this, as I told them to stop calling the last time this happened - before, the calls just stopped. I am sitting in my moms kitchen this evening and I hear my dad answer his phone. It's Kaiser and they are looking for me! I know it's Kaiser because I hear my dad say "Yes, he's actually here right now but is very angry with you and wants these calls to stop. From what I gather, the person on the other end could not make that happen. My dad asked him for the supervisor and while on hold, the call dropped. My dad told me that this was the third time they have called him looking for me.

I understand that this is probably a third party service making the calls on behalf of Kaiser, but there's an easy way to tell if the patient has actually used the effn services! It's very easy to add a few lines of computer code that will parse out those patient's that show no active record in the system. I can't answer your damn survey, because I have never used your services! Leave me alone!

How about they just take my name off the call list. I laughed it off when something showed up in the mail once in a while or I got a few calls. This is borderline harassment. Every other night and on Saturdays. Really not cool.

You are getting so many calls because you don't answer. An automated system is calling a list of numbers. It keeps calling until the phone is answered and the call is successfully transferred to the telephone interviewer.

Your solution of a few lines of code to "clean up" the list costs money. Answer the freaking call, as soon as a person is on the line, say no thank you and hang up. I usually hear a dial tone before I can get the phone away from my ear to hang up. AND I don't get called back.

It hasn't been like this in the past. As I said, I would get some calls, but they would stop. This has been the worst ever. They are sending me forms, calling me over and over and now my dad. That just isn't right.

Answering the phone does not work. I also said that I did answer the phone and I told them to stop calling. Well.... Also, I am not always by my phone or it's on mute and I don't see it, so how can I answer it? I just see the same number over and over and I know who it is. It also seems that the interviewer can't take the number off the list, as my dad found out.

Yes, it does cost money, but in the long run, it would cost far less. I'm not the only one pissed at this. Fine, how about having the ability to opt out? When I Googled the number, I found a lot of other unhappy subscribers.

Complain to Kaiser. Phone, and written. Start a web site providing information for other subscribers on how to complain using proper channels so they get counted. At some point Kaiser should wake up. They probably just hired a new customer service company that offered more customer information for less money.

I was getting junk mail from my cable company aimed at getting new customers. It had all kinds of sign up deals that were lower than my subscription. I called and complained and got my subscription lowered for my trouble.

Well, I had to listen to a 2 hour motivational book on CD today. Tomorrow my department is going to have lunch to discuss the book. It's one of those it's not your environment that's the problem, it's YOU things. Not sure what the goal of this whole thing is yet.

My cable company did this too... After I had cancelled the service when my TV died. I would get mail addressed to me and to "resident". I called and called. I told them I understand the "resident" mailers, but take my name out of the list - I don't have a TV!!. They offered me discounts.

I'm on Steve Jobs side on the whole customer opinion thing. The customer doesn't really know what it wants. To ask only wastes your time and money and annoys the customer.

Morning Y'all
Here we go again, gonna have to threaten to take my little town to court. A few years ago they decided to put up streetlights. Well they plopped one on my property............yeah we shot it out with a BB Gun, and made a phone call the next day. They reinstalled the bulb, again I shot it out with a BB Gun, and called the town the next day. The third time they put the bulb in I took the light down with a shotgun and called the town the next day and told them I was going to take them to court, for trespassing and vandalism, and that they needed to clean up the defective light they installed on my property. I came home that night and the light was gone. Well flash forward to yesterdays mail and they want to put up a light on the pole on the other side of my property. Here we go again. I am also going to go across the street and have a word with the old battle ax who wants the lights put up and tell her she needs to move back into town where she slithered from. FCUK HER IN THE ASS WITH A CONCRETE DILDO COVERED WITH A SAND PAPER CONDOM AND A VALVE GRINDING LUBRICANT!!!!!!
