Get off my lawn!
|
Howdy Azzy. Welcome back.
It was John Lennon that said "life is what happens when you are busy making other plans" My cable company finally came out to fix things after I had called 3 times because the TV picture was like an episode of Max Headroom. All the young-uns on the forum will have to google him to know what that means. They spent an hour in the house looking at every connection and decided I was right, it was OK. They finally opened their tamper proof box that is attached to the back of my house and saw the connections were bad. New connections and all is well. Then they tried to ad $35 to my monthly bill for the fix. I explained my position and it is possible I was a little hostile to the blithering idiot at the central office. ![]() They fixed the billing error and lowered my bill 20 bucks a month for 6 months.

Max, I am sorry if I offended you. I don't mind some banter about your dating but lets try to keep it from going on for multiple pages, day after day. Everything has been said. You have heard the same advice from everyone. Girls don't really have cooties and they rarely bite. Ignore the fact that you are not attracted to a particular girl, talk to them as well! One of my friends had a sister that was "challenged in life" with her looks. She really was a neat chick once you got past her looks.
Over 1/2 of the population is female. California has a lot of gay men so that helps your odds even more. Don't worry about finding a "girlfriend" just some female friends. Girls usually have other friends. Once they know you are a nice guy, they love to play matchmaker. Never turn down a blind date. You may have to kiss a few frogs to find the princess.

The surfing is certainly easier in California than Arizona.
![]() Arizona is safe from a earthquake and Tsunami however!

The bigfoot population keeps the graboids population in check. They harvest them to feed the unicorns.

I love AZ but yes, major drawback, no ocean. Although AZ is much cheaper and AZ is really not that far from CA. And yes, we have no major stuff like landslides, earthquakes, or tsunamis... Or graboids.

Most ironic? Just naming some of the cancers I have seen in young men. Saw a lot of NHL, testicular, and skin in the young crowd. Occassional sarcoma and leukemics. We didn't see the young young kids... I was adult oncology so 18 and up.
