Good afternoon fellas. Last week at this job... In sunny San Bernardino. Starting the new job on Monday. Woo hoo!

G-man went to a baby shower? What??!! He must not have received the honorary man card that I sent him.

Good luck, Dave. Keep us in the loop!

Max? Where are you? Did you get some digits?

Congrats, Dave! But really? Did you think you weren't? You studied so hard! Time to celebrate!

I've had a fear of this test fir 24 years. Not to mention my normal test anxieties. Yeah, the thought of not passing was high.

Thanks all! Time for a nap.

And yes, I have now officially completed my part of the challenge. Your turn, Max! If I can do something that has held me back for 24 years, you can do it too!

BTW, Max. Thank you! You pushed me to do something that I thought was unobtainable for so many years.

I'm not saying it doesn't look tasty , i'm just confused was to how a steak like that could be fillet. If i order fillet from my butcher, i'de expect something like this :

Evening All.

Stijn, we call that cut Eye Fillet. It's a beautiful piece of meat from the tenderloin.
What we call scotch fillet is also called Rib-eye Fillet in other parts of the world.

Congrats Dave.

You are welcome Dave. I have to thank you as well, though. You got me to branch out a bit, particularly last Thursday and Friday.

I wish I saw that girl more often during the week, though. I am in the mindset to talk more to her about things that are not just small talk, but first I want to confirm a date/time to go for the hike/ride. I did not really have an opportunity to talk with her today since I did not want to be rude and interrupt the conversation she was having with someone else. So I just talked to my friend and then had to get into my class. Very disappointed. I've been thinking of her since Friday. If she follows through on what she said then, though, I should be able to get her phone number out of it at least.

Hey Dave, the Chino Airshow is this weekend. You can celebrate your accomplishment by at least attending. Not sure when the airport closes to incoming flights.

PLANES of FAME - Home

I won't be there. Hopefully I will be with a girl.

Dang, some heavy stuff simmering under the surface, just waiting to go down here. It must not have been too long before the murder.

The nap eluded me.

Thank you again! I appreciate all the encouragement and well wishes.

Max, I did not beat you. I beat myself. There is no prize for coming in ahead of schedule. I just accomplished something that has been haunting me for 24 years. If I can do, so can you.

And Max, I can't fly anywhere other than to Camarillo for now. I've been to Chino many times, but I prefer to fly there. I do plan to check out the war planes at Camarillo though.
