Ha ha. Sounds like what I went through in college. When I was in high school, grades came by relatively easy for me. Graduated in the top twenty of a class of 820. Then I moved into the honors dorm. Full of freaking geniuses. Scared the crap out of me. Not used to that. But whatever. I used to joke and say I was the most stupid of the geniuses which wasn't that bad. then I found later that life is heck of a lot more than your GPA.

Busy day and many pages to read, or busy day because you have many pages to read?

Meh. I think I just got used to it. The thought of not being able to go to school because of financial reasons scared me more than missing out on anything "fun". My thought was I wouldn't even be able to witness college life if I didn't keep my scholarship. I could have gone to school in town where my parents lived but I wanted to experience all of it. Living on my own. I think it was the right choice for me. I still keep in touch with a lot of my college friends.

Haha! Yeah Max, "back in the day" for you, was when you were still in your mother's womb. You can revisit that phrase in a few years.

To put it in race terms, you're somewhere at around the 3rd hour at Sebring, and you've already decided to pack it in. Read about how Penske/Donohue fared there in 1969.

Be nice. We were all young and stupid once. Sometimes I question if I am old and stupid. Probably. But that's ok. You live and learn.

Sorry, it should be Daytona in 1969. Don't read about Sebring from that year. It sucked for them.

Alarick, no real damage to your rim. Looks like the threads made some grooves in the holes, but very little metal shavings. I'm just glad it didn't come flying off when I was on the 101.

I'm glad, too. Didn't even think about the wheel until you mentioned it. It's usually a bad thing to be on the highway and see one of your wheels pass you by.

It's amazing how fast a blister forms after hand torquing 5 lug nuts every few hundred feet.

It's amazing how long the line behind you gets when you have to stop your car and hand torque the lug nuts every few hundred feet.

Good one, but no. I was on the street when I noticed, stuck to some side roads or the right lane so I could pull over.

Be sure to take notes. If you're going to do any wrenching, this is the stuff not to do! But also the answer on how to fix an issue, especially when black gold is involved and it's poised to come rushing out.

I explained the procedure on FB, but in short, it helped to have another pair of hands at the ready and a strong thumb to plug the hole.

Ok, "back in the day" was a poor choice of words. I meant back when the dating/going out thing usually starts. If I had been social back then when everyone was new at it, then I wouldn't feel so awkward now.

Plenty of people start the dating thing in college. I pretty much did. I always got the "friends" thing in HS.

Alarick, have your wife pull up my 15 sec vid on FB of my 911 on headers. I should have recorded for a few more.
