Bleh, still groggy. Spent a good part of last night in ED - still feeling the effects of the morphine and some sort of anti nausea drugs.
Went in with sever lower back pain and nausea. Initially treated for colic. CT showed no stones - quacks at a loss? Pissing blood (not much), their guess is maybe I passed a stone, maybe I have a virus. Got sent home drugged up and feeling better to wait it out. Still feeling sore across my back. No nausea anymore. Sleeping it all off.

unless i find something amiss, i'll be picking up this female english setter on wednesday. i think she is beautiful. angie suggested the name 'roxie'. i kinda like it.
![]() ![]() she has the colors of a llewellin setter. she'll almost certainly pick up a bunch of spots, too, as she gets older. that would give her the markings of a llewellin, also.

D, she is going to look really pretty when she grows up, those tricolour markings on her face will look beautiful, when she spots up on that white body, I love the english Setters, they move so beautifully, and their feathering just flows when it is well brushed, and they have lovely temperaments too. Like that you are getting a ***** puppy , I am not into males, they are just not as affectionate. (did that come out right lol)

yeah, it came out right. we've had experience with both sexes. our newfoundlands were litter mates. we found that the female was more about the family/pack, the male was more about territory. both were good dogs, but our female is just lovely and loving. i think females are much more affectionate, as you stated, even cats seem to follow that rule.
i don't think she is going to have much feathering. i've seen pictures of the parents and both are field bred with almost zero feathering, which is fine by me. i am hoping that her temperament is mellow, but that she will hunt well. i plan on some hyperactivity, but i did my research. i really hope it works out. i also hope that her she spots up really nice. the pictures of the llewellins show them to be so gorgeous. d.

Once I am out of college I will have money and can consider it. But I think I want a driver 914 more (first). I've never driven one. I need something to replace the BMW, and it needs to be more weather-resistant than the 911 in its current state. But a bike is on the list. I don't think I will ever be very fast on it. But I want the cafe racer look. So something light and a small engine. But I do like to say desmodromic valves.
