Its been fun. I'm out in Reno right now and staying with 9dreizig, so I've been getting to help him work on the 930s and go race the spec miatas in my free time.

Work wise it kinda sucks because my company has had poor coverage in this market and I'm trying to churn up new business in a short amount of time. Since we are a high $$ purchase but work through resellers, its difficult. But management knew that and they aren't looking for much and are hoping it churns out some good long term results.

I want to be at the ocean.. Instead I've had a stupid summer cold for the last several days. We have zero plans so far for some beach time. We're going to Smith mountain lake after the mountain trip but, no beach. I'm going to the ocean this summer one way or another.

Morning Richard, and the rest.

They are going to replace the entire condenser unit outside. We are going for a slightly higher SEER rated unit.

It only got up to 83 inside and it was 81 when we got up. We are real lucky the rain came through. No doubt that cooled off things a LOT.

Not quite. We have to get through today first.

Like the AA folks say, "One day at a Time."

As far as I know it is impossible to do it any other way.

Was able to replace my whole HVAC with a 2.5 ton for $2300. Old one died 2 days before Memorial Day weekend. Because I let my AC guy rip out the old one before the weekend and install the new one after he got back from the lake he gave me a fantastic deal. Couldn't even find a smaller HVAC cheaper than his total install price. Wasn't even an inconvenience as the temps were in the low 70's all weekend anyway. The newer system had an energy rating that let me write off the expense on my taxes.

i have a horrible time sleeping at night if the temp is above 78°F.

I don't want it to end. If it does, that means I'm heading to DC.

And don't forget to bring some sunshine home with you Jim.
I'm getting tired of draining water out of the pool every other day.

You may have to sell off some assets to eat but that is the choice.

Met a guy that had embezzled $5 Million from an oil company. It took them a year to catch him. In that year he used the money to start his own company. They made him pay the original $5 million back with 5% interest, fined him $80,000, and sent him to minimum security white collar prison for 2 years. He said it was what he was expecting and was worth it to not have to hassle with other investors or shareholders in his venture. He knew they were coming for him and was prepared. After he paid everything back, fines, lawyer fees, and serving the two years he pocketed $9 Million.
