Jim, that is called bulimia. It is very popular with young women. I whipped bulimia & anorexia long ago.

Jeff, 1,600 km is just under 1,000 miles in two days. In a 911 on paved interstate I will have to do 800 miles each day for two days this summer. Then do it again a week later. Drive safe on your long boring drive. It is even worse because you are ending a fun vacation.

Good morning folks.

Morning everyone.

Finally got everything set up on the new laplet (laptop/tablet). I ended up getting the Surface pro 2, 256 gig with 8 gigs of ram. I figure it was the best bang for my buck. I don't like big laptops so the ~11 inch screen works fine for me. I wanted something that could be an ultra portable table, but able to run my AutoCAD and Photoshop programs. Windows 8.1 is a learning curve. I am slowly getting used to it. It has the potential of being an awesome operating system on a device like this having the touch screen capabilities, I just need to get better with it to give it justice.

Same here. If it snows one more time after this, I am seriously going to consider moving to Florida.

We're heading to SoCal on Friday to work on our place out there. Can't wait until we slip into retirement.

It has been a while. Master Stijn has abandoned us as well.

If you read all the pages (as have I) you will see virtually every topic discussed and most any problem brought up and some were solved and some were just tabled.

Nipple lube to toothpaste and even at the same time.

We have all concluded that the white frozen form of precipitation is a profane nasty word and only can be referred to as S***.

We have all learned that nipple lube is a good thing to use in proper amounts.

White 911s are preferred by the majority of the highly intelligent regular posters on the thread.

Any color is good, but white seems to be the number one choice.

I have white as does Jim, Azzy, Markus, Max and several others. I MIGHT possible be prejudiced but I think white is the best color.

No you guys are all just boring old guys! And yes I include max in that.

Jeff, I feel ya, I drove from PHX to Santa Fe yesterday. 8hrs of empty desert with a few mountains. Driving back on Thursday, more of the same...

The part of my upcoming vacation drive I dread the most is from OKC to Albuquerque. Lots of nothing to see.

Here's something interesting along the freeway in Texas

There's the fabulous Cadillac Ranch near Amarillo.

And Tucumcari is a tourist mecca that mustn't be missed.

My wheels finally made it from the UK to the Cali shop that is re-barrelling them.

Good thing they needed re-barrelled. The guy says whomever refinished the wheels did a very poor job. They used way too much of some kind of sealant to put the centers in AND must have used some kind of air gun to assemble them because about half the bolts are cracked right where the threads start engaging. Oh, and some of the bolts are just screws glued in to look like the other bolts. Yikes.

Probably why the majority of us don't like the white stuff, we wouldn't be able to find the car if it was out there in it!!

Holy sheet, can you imagine if you were just an ordinary dork (instead of a Stijn dork) and put them on your car and then proceeded to go hell raising around the country side, eeeeekk!

oh yeah, it is still falling white stuff from the sky. Has been for most of the afternoon and isn't supposed to stop until 12, so another restless night waiting to see if the school is going to have a delayed start, sigh

Was it you looking forward to seeing some s*** after moving to Maryland? I sure thought you were once wishing to see some of it.

yes that would have been me, but I do love it, lots of it, but in small doses, don't like the way the kids don't get to go to school, or... the way the school district we are in doesn't decide until 5am, so I spend half the night awake waiting for the phone call.

I'll admit I am boring, but I'm not old, just old-fashioned.

You're only as old as the women you feel... wait that doesn't work for me.

I also love skiing on it, not trudging through it, or driving in it. I love sitting in front of a roaring fire after a day on the slopes, drinking a glass of something hot and yummy, or cold and bubbly, prefer vacationing in it, than the day to day drudge.

sigh don't want much do I?

Oh yeah, I want to be able to drive my car on a lovely sunny day.
