I guess it is my animal magnetism. It repels a lot of female humans but the rats come running at me.

Mertnin...

The other evening a big o black rat scampered off the porche into the flower bed. Never seen one that big around here before. Seen cats, dogs, squirrels, rabbits, opossum, raccoons, and mice, but no rats. Struck me as odd.

I have caught a few field mice over the years at home but never any rats.

Our dogs are a early warning system for mice under the storage building. They start circling the building and then I put out traps. Our previous female dog was a great mouser. She dispatched mice quickly and provided a organic full recycling program for the mice. She could tun a mouse into do poo in just 24 hours.

Don't think my cat or dog either one is very good at rodent control. The cat did crack us all up though. Heard all this banging and thrashing in a lower kitchen cabinet, then the cat shot out and all around the kitchen and house with the sticky mouse trap stuck to his foot. Happened twice.

I once hit a cat that started out on the side of the road but then ran down the middle and jumped into the grill of my car. Was really weird. I thought it was just going to cross then bang.

So Richard, you are trying to do the new Mopar thing?

Man, a busy day at work. I am here all alone and I could be taking a good nap but I have too much work to get done.

Stijn!!

Evening Rick.

There was a great story on the TV news. A dumb ass took off after a cop tried to pull him over. The cops dropped back and did not chase him but he kept speeding and running lights. Air one was in the air and the driver was not gonna get away. The dumb ass drove down a dead end road and air one told the cops where to go get him. The driver was blocked in so he took off and tried to do a General Lee. He failed. He jumped a barricade but a chain link fence stopped him cold. He got out and ran off. He ran into the National Guard parking lot and a guardsman put him on his face down on the parking lot. Wham. The cops handcuffed him. He is spending the night in the grey bar hotel.

Yea, unfortunately the cops did not get to test the hardness of their night sticks on his head. The idiot ran numerous red lights. Stupid driving with no cops in sight behind him. Just the eye in the sky which he is never going to outrun.

well glad I don't live in MO, or maybe anywhere where the stupid are rioting, what a bunch of dumb ar5es. Its not like the young "gent" who was killed was not doing anything wrong, was just sitting around eating an icecream which he had paid for, and was doing his homework.

I just don't understand how these sorts of situations just get blown out of all proportion, but I suppose the media is not helping at all.

Martin Luther King Jr would just roll over in his grave, his 'children' are not helping themselves at all.

Glen, I hope the police recorded every violation and have many, many years of fail time lined up for him.

It is a black eye for our country and it shows what happens when people fail to educate themselves and keep an open mind to situations. I will keep my opinions to myself here because if I vent I will send this thread into parf.

the man's father had the gall to say that his son's character was "crucified". apparently he hasn't watched the surveillance video of his son robbing the convenience store and roughing up the guy behind the counter. that is some real character, right there. and his parents aren't showing any, either, by giving revisionist history of their son and agitating things even more.
