Well early morning repo went well.................for us. Someone came out the side door I guess trying to sneak up on me, bad idea because my son had that side covered. They gave up and let us take the car.

I think the next one you should dress up like your avatar. Now, THAT would catch the people of guard.

Leave DC for SoCal? I couldn't possibly regret it, even riding an OC cart!

Get off my lawn!

Man do I know how to party on Labor day. It is 98 degrees out there right now.
I got up early and moved Mrs. Carrera's Infinity G35X over to my main work bay. The bay with the lift and all the lights where I normally park the Elky. I just swapped the positions with the Elky. I got the car on the lift and had the A/C cranked on full. Then I went to mow the yard and have fun with the mower. After mowing I had Mrs. Carrera help me wax her car. Not just a quick one step easy wax, nooooo. She wanted the full bore deal. Paint cleaning then wax. At least she was helping. It does go a LOT faster with two people working. Almost twice as fast! ![]() It sure helps getting the car up in the air to wax the lower parts. Her car has paint on the bottom of the car kinda like the 911 only it is a big 4 door car. It is now gleaming with a full Zymol wax job. For some reason I don't need a step stool to wax the roof of the 911 but her car is big enough it is hard to do the middle of the roof. The good news is it is done. Time for a nap.

About as exciting as my day so far.
Wifey brought back the free JD mower. It's a 38 inch cut, 13 HP rider. It runs great but the mower deck is missing some parts. Her dad bought it new and took pretty good care of it. I have the owner's manual and I know what's needed. I figure $150 or less will get it back in shape. He gave us snow thrower as well. It started right up with fresh fuel.

Happy Labor Day.
Couldn't sleep last night so just woke up. My snow thrower also throws anything you can scoop up. It's called a shovel. At 99°F so far today don't think I will be throwing anything besides a few tosses of a frisbee and/or tennis ball for Pepper.

Have only shipped off one car by carrier. The idiot driver tore up the front spitter on the 944 Turbo loading it. They lost money on that transport job. New owner sure was glad I took before pictures.
Received my last 3 car purchases by carrier without incident. The 928 showed up covered on a flat bed and the other two were SUVs.

I shipped the 964 garage queen using Intercity Lines. Picked up on time, delivery was a few days later than planned, but arrived perfect.

Still negotiating... Have the seller talked down to 11k below the nearest sold comp, plus we keep fridge, washer, dryer. Buyer still has to think about it!?!? Wtf. You won't get a better deal than this!!!!

I am glad I have long practice with 12 oz curls. My arm is sorta tired but I can still feed myself and get a beer bottle to my mouth with no issues.

That Buying Alaska show is on. Those people are nuts. Tiny little cabins with outhouse, and you have to tote in and filter water from the local river?
One cabin was a one hour 8 wheel cart ride to get to from the nearest town, a four wheeler wouldn't make it. They made the comment if you were splitting wood and chopped a finger, you would just wrap it with duck tape and keep chopping. Another one was only accessible from a float plane and costed over $1M, yikes.
