My wife and I rode for hours at a time without talking. Nothing to say just stay quiet. It is great.

My wife and I talk a fair amount when we're on a long drive. And we don't say the same things over and over. Conversation gaps are rarely longer than a half hour. You're sitting silent wonder about what's that odd sound you can hear from the engine only to nut out its road noise, and she's sitting silent wondering why you have suddenly stopped talking to her and what's she's done wrong for you to stop loving her.

Of course

Frankly, my 911 has been the biggest piece of junk I've owned...so reliability isn't something I've even considered as it's the least reliable internal combustion powered thing I've owned. That, is not an exaggeration.

My biggest concern is storing the car for the time being and having the rest of it not go to crap. With Saucy Jr planning to arrive within July and a bathroom remodel and garage remodel looming as the final house projects...engine rebuild on dad's weekend car is very low (So are the funds at this point in time)

I'm trying to determine if I want to go 3.2SS with ITBs and Injection or low comp 3.0 with a turbo, intercooler stuffed into a ducktail.

Either way, the stock 915 with 176k on it needs a refresh as well...

Thought seriously of doing low compression pistons on the 928 GTS and doing a 5.4 liter twin turbo 928. 750 hp sounds badass. With the offer of $70K, think I will just keep it mostly stock. So far the only upgrades are bolting on some headers.

Thought about doing what was necessary to twin turbo the 928 GTS. but it would cost me as much in value as it would cost to do.

Great concourse. The monsoon rains in recent weeks meant we could not park on the golf course. It was done in the parking garage.

Dennis Gage is in the background here. The guy from my classic car.

This is my friend that drives down from Anchorage, Alaska each year in his 1985 Carrera. He almost hit a grizzly bear cub and mama Grizzly would not be happy.

Stijn!!

This is just a small part of the atrium at the hotel.

This is just part of the dome.

This shows up one side a of a wall part of the dome and part way down the other wall.

Before the Houston astrodome this was the largest dome in the world.

Burp.
Enjoying a Dirty Bastard scotch style ale. Burp.

I don't know why but it makes me think of Joe. I don't even know why except it is a good beer. 8.5% alcohol by volume. Very tasty is you like real beer. Coors light lovers would hate it but who cares what they think tastes good.

I've overheard the wife saying this to one of her friends:

I enjoy the peace and quiet just as much as he does and I can tell when he's off in his own world solving or redesigning something. That usually keeps him busy for an hour or two.

We really don't have that going on. I know many women NEED constant talking and response. My wife does not and that is one of the MANY things I love about her.

Heck, I talk more than she does.

Well it seems someone used a fake swipie thingie to get Beth's info from her card and used it in Indiana and Nc.
Wells Cargo is crap to deal with, and everything is pending, including the cash deposit I made to her acct on Sat.
Looks like she is going to be living out of my acct until her useless bank gets their crap straight.
I have had my acct hacked three times and it has never taken over an hour to be back up and running with all of my money back.

Yep, Wells Cargo is crap. Had them for about 8 months for my house mortgage. When they couldn't get automatic payment working in that length of time, and kept charging me late charges for Them not taking the money out of my account, I refinanced with someone else.

When my Mom got her card compromised they got her Social Security info and would charge the new credit card. Changed banks twice and they followed her. We finally had to put her monies in an account under my brothers name and put her on the signature card. That way the account was not associated with her SSN even though her Social Security was auto-deposited to it.
