These cars have got to be the performance bargain of the decade. A buddy of mine bought a gorgeous dark grey one 2 years back. It had some minor mods and coilovers, the thing was silly quick. Better yet, he paid $31 and sold it for $33 after a couple years of fun

Tomorrow afternoon we do an MRI. Afterwards I'll be conducting tests to see if I point North or glow in the dark.

PP--I hope they can find something to help you feel better.
911 Saucy--My hope is that when my friend is ready to sell his I am able to buy it. I know most everything about it already.

You seem to get our storms a day or two later. Sometimes with a little more energy from the lake.

We had really good weather all weekend. Low 70s with a breeze. Went to the Yankee Dirt Classic with dad Saturday night and they got over about 2:15am and the temps were down to 47*. Glad I took a light jacket.
Did yard work all day saturday and sunday. It was nice to be outside.

Getting prepped for a trip to Austin Wednesday and get back Saturday. The price is right for the tech conference and there is some good info there plus making connections, but I hate traveling.

Our pilot was hanging out in the office this afternoon for some unknown reason. He can spend an hour mailing a package that most folks could get ready in 4 or 5 minutes. Anyway he was doing whatever and asked us to not set the alarm and lock the door. His office keys were in his car and turning on the alarm would require a test of his slow motion walking to get to the pad to disable the alarm. I walked out and was careful to not set the alarm. My brain then went into automatic mode and my hand locked the door without my brain engaging. I was half way home when our pilot called and asked why I had locked him in. OOPS. So back to the office and declare him a free man. Oh well.

Work has started this new thing called Vision 2030. It is a quest to diversify business away from the oil and gas industry. The goal is $1 Billion sales in 15 years. They attempted the same diversification thing during the oil slump back in the 80's but noting came of it. They have put together a team called the Revenue Team to research ideas.
The only thing the Revenue Team has come up with so far is to save $14K annually by not providing styrofoam cups. That is almost nothing! It is interesting to me that during the current slump monthly sales is still $12M. I remember in the 80's when the annual sales dropped to $12M and the losses were less than $500K. I've had several ideas throughout the years and was told I don't know anything. As one example we used to have an Automation Systems business that made an sold equipment to automate well and pumping sites, data aquisition and control over radio. It was centered on an expensive custom built computer that was capable of controlling EVERYTHING. Told them they should make it more modular, a bunch of small devices so customers could save money by putting only what is needed to control a secific site. The automation business did not do really well and went out of business to companies that sold the cheaper modular devices. I also thought the modular devices could be used for other markets like utilities to read meters on every house remotely. Both the oil field and utilities markets would each be enough match or out perform the valve business. Another example was in manufacturing. Each lot of castings from vendors is a slightly different hardness. My idea was to check the hardness on each lot and track it through the manufacturing process so tooling and machining could be optimized for that specific hardness. Instead they use the tooling and setup to handle the hardest material. My estimates were the increase in overall production and savings in tooling costs would be enough to put the company back in the black at the current sales level.

I love companies that build their business model on eliminating styrofoam cups. So visionary.

I know the move to Exchange Online, cost more, has less features, has more problems and takes more time to manage than an on-site Exchange server and data storage. We are also having users with sync errors that we never had before. On the exchange management discussion and support forums there is more chatter about moving back to on-site than there was about moving to 365 or exchange online.
