Mainly because it never runs out of ammo chopping heads off and I would just end up hurting myself with a samurai or broad sword.
Plus, you'd have to change your screen name to sniper if you bought a sword!

I remember the man that was our Kodak Technical representative was born and raised in Rochester, NY. The home of Kodak. He said they have an average of something like 45 sunny days per year.
He was assigned our area and he moved his family here. After several years Kodak offered him a promotion and he would be moved back to Rochester. That happened in March and he was busy playing golf and in Rochester they had yet another blizzard. He still lives here.
Good Morning all. I am going to have to find something to do in the garage. It is to nice to be inside. Tomorrow is another autocross.

Remember my FIL's Camaro with the funny engine noise? Sure you do.

After we reinstalled the engine it didn't run like it should. We were both frustrated so he took it over to a friend's repair shop. They determined that the crank was bad. They had a machine shop install a crank kit, etc. and then re reinstalled the engine.

On their test drive they blew a rod out of the oil pan! I swear this car is cursed.

I told my FIL that once he gets it back to get rid of it.

My Elky's alternator once aging started growling and I had been putting up with it not charging until I got the engine to 2,000 RPM the first time. Then it charged fine.
I yanked it off an put on my backup spare one wire alternator and took the freshly removed one back to Autozone. They listened to the bearings and it was obvious they were toast so they hooked up the tester wrong on purpose so it would fail and the computer was happy. They handed me a replacement and off I went. It is packed up and in the attic ready for the next failure.
The best part is I can swap the alternator in 30 minutes if I take my time.

If they put in a crank, and they threw a rod they musts missed a couple of bolts on the torquing portion of the program

Yep. The shop that did the work for the friend is a well known facility in the Saginaw area. Now, it's between the 2 shops on what they are going to do to resolve the issue. I hope the block is ok because 400s were hard to find back in the mid 90s when I built mine. I can't imagine it's any easier now.

The best part is that it wasn't in any way, shape, or form MY FAULT.

Had a bit of a lazy day. GD had a sleepover, a bit of yard work, the closest I got to playing with any cars was plugging the 944 into a battery charger as she hasn't been started for about a month. Cooked a lasagne for dinner, and now hydrating at the 19th hole before my tee time.

Sounds like a good day Jeff? We hung around and watched Porsche Win at Petit LeMans, the I vaccumed the pool and we went to dinner with family. Came home and went for a cruise in the bug. Cool desert nights are back. Perfect cruising low and slow.
