I only recycle the cans for a free lunch!
I am a dinosaur and we still take the daily newspaper. I do recycle those in the city bin and haul that to the curb. The city has a special truck to pickup and haul the recycle stuff to a recycling center. They have separate bins the recycle guy throws paper plastic and glass into.

The convenience store/gas/liquor/carwash on the corner has a corrugated cardboard bin, Break dpwn boxes and drop in the slot there.
Had only one bin for a while. Saw the recycle guy putting paper in one bin on the truck and dumping all the plastic/glass in another. So called and got a second and have two recycle bins now.

Yep, if you are using city water, you can only water your lawn on an even or odd day to match your street address.

I think we've got to worry about water restrictions in about 10,000 years. I think I'll have moved on by then.

They started the rationing during our record drought and decided to keep it going after. Then this spring we had record rain fall. Now they are blaming the recent bigger local earthquakes on the record rainfall instead of fraking.

Actually, highly recommend the beer drinkers give it a crack. It's a creamy dark ale that has a hint of a bacon/smoked ham flavour. It's very easy to swill, and will knock you for six in no time.
This time I'm off to the fart sack.
