Morning Y'all,
Jim this time breakfast/lunch/dinner (whatever) is on me so tell Lu to keep her pen in her pocket, I am not taking no for an answer

Hahaha! BTW, we'll have our attack schnauzer with us. I'll make sure to feed her before we meet up...just in case.

Don't remember ever putting that cone cold air box on mine, but do remember looking to see the stock air box was pulling air from the fender well. Honestly thought it would be a restriction versus pulling cold air. Think the Lindseys came up with a headlight cover with a naca air duct, but my personal opinion it was too far behind the high pressure front edge of the car to draw any air in at speed when you need it.
i put the cone right where the stock airbox lived. we'll see what happens when i run it in the summer.

Behind the intercooler and the radiator is warm air. Think that's why the suck it from the fender well.

yep, i get it. but, i think that air that is a little warmer is better than air that is unfiltered (broken airbox).

There are ways to get cold air int that area. A louvered headlight cover will help when the lights are not on

Just know them from my Black 90 951 days.

One of the 928 guys made some nice custom cams for the 928 and used them for a little heavier than stock valve springs. That was the main reason I put the hotter stock 90 GT cams in my 94 GTS and not the special grinds. Could keep the stock springs and didn't have to get the springs from Lindsey.

Morning

I have a feeling the author was secretly watching me work

I reckon there's also a chapter in there about paper towel usage, and another about how to not pick up women (I think that chapters titled 'punch yourself in the nuts').

I'm sleep-walking through work today. My body is still on Pacific time. What if it stays on that time zone until I retire? Hmmmmm.

Jeff, I think I need a copy of that book. A couple of my cars over the years could've been good case studies.

Good Morning all.

The wife and I went to a late night wild crazy head banging concert last night at least for us. (Actually it was Bluegrass style)

It started at 3:00 PM and went on for two hours. Then we WALKED all the way next door to eat. Phew. It was nearly 7:00 PM by the time we got home. We met 5 other couples long time friends. Fun night.

The band is:

MOUNTAIN SMOKE - Bio

They are a very talented group. One of the guitar players was regularly just closing his eyes, playing right along with a nice grin on his face. It was obvious he really loves to play.

It was a charity event for a local food pantry.
