What he smokes costs a bit more than cigs. I think. Not certain on the street value nowadays, though.

He rolls his own cigs, though.

Hope he quit for more than just the getting hired drug test if wants to keep a drug tested job.
We found al lot of new hires quit just long enough to pass the get tested to get hired drug test, but fail the first random test they participate in.

Our last "random" drug test they randomly tested everyone in the company. AND they tested hair instead of pee which shows drug usage for over 30 days. Everyone passed.

They say it is random, but I have been randomly picked for every drug test since I started working from home.

Back at my first job I worked with an old black guy named Benny that rolled his own cigarettes. He could make a perfect tobacco joint with just one hand. I saw some of my high school friends just make horrible looking joints that fell apart.

One of the kids was having a big party and was trying to make up some joints for his friends back when an ounce was 10 bucks.

I told my buddy about Benny and my friend hired him to do nothing but roll joints and they both enjoyed that. Benny told me he ended up giving lessons to all the rick white kids on how to roll joints. His pay was a few joints.

I had no interest in the party and was working that night anyway.

My favorite story about Benny was about booze. I had just started drinking and had a Screwdriver and thought that was pretty good. The liquor stores in Alabama were all state owned and have a horrible inventory.

Anyway I saw orange flavored Vodka as a choice. I figured it might taste like a Screwdriver. Boy was I wrong. It was horrible and I could not drink it. I just gave it to Benny. Tee next week I asked how he liked that stuff. His reply it was it was "just right" and I asked what he meant by that.

He replied that "if it was any better I would have not have given it to him and if it was any worse he could not have drunk it"

I have always loved that response.

The last girl I dated rolled her own. Didn't smell funny but just about all the people she introduced me to were stoners.

She got mad at me and I think broke up with because I told her I was driving home, didn't like talking on the phone driving in traffic, and would call her when I got home so I could give her my full attention. She said okay and hung up, but didn't answer any of my calls after that.

Don't know if it makes me weird, or her, but anyway...Evidentially our weirds didn't match up.

ok. Insurance rant. I have a B.A.H.A. its bone anchored hearing aide. They just informed my last month that at the end of 2016 mine would no longer be sold and could only be repaired for as long as they had parts. After 5 years your insurance is supposed to help get a new one. I filled out all the paperwork and sent it all in. Both the insurance company and the aide maker are sitting around thinking the other is getting something done. Turns out neither is doing a thing.

Rant over.

Did quite a bit of recreational enhancements while in HS and College and a little after. What social and never did it alone, even beers. Only kept stuff round for the girls I dated that liked that soort of thing. Not too long after college got to where I just got paranoid, ie worried about getting caught or doing something really inappropriate so just quit everything except for the social drinking and don't drink enough to get either drunk of hungover.

I've had managers like that. If they don't do anything about it, it will just go away. Typically had to make a big deal about it to get anything done.

Has the company stopped making them because there is something better?\
What about all the other people that use tht type of aide?
Are there other companies that make them?

Happy Friday, y'all.

We're on the train heading for Valencia, where we'll stay for the next week. More chances to get into mischief!

I noticed Rick has been AWOL for a while. I hope all is well for him.

I am having fun. At the eye doctors off getting my routine eye exam. I hate getting my eyes dilated but that is just one step. It has been 3 years since getting new glasses.

I think space aliens got him. I see him on faceplant so he still has internet access. He just does not love us anymore.

The opthamologist said everything was fine. With glasses I have 20-20 vision and there is not much to do to improve that. I have always been very lucky with vision. When I was reading a LOT of analog books (paper and ink!) I developed astigmatism and I started wearing glasses then. I know a lot of people would love to have my vision without glasses. When I work on the computer I take off my glasses because at the distance the two monitors are from me is too close for the bifocals to help. I have the progressive bifocals that don't have the line. I sometimes have to bob my head around to find the best part of the lens for that distance.

The better news is eye pressures and the retinas all look fine.

I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other right now. Get cadillac surgery Tuesday. Looking like I will be getting the vitreous fluid in my left eye replaced sometime after that, then do the cadillac thing on it too.

Before all this stuff started I was 20/20 with my glasses with only -1 diopters in each eye and could see close just fine. Then it started narrowing couldn't see as good closer or farther. Went in for that and started all this eye stuff.

I am 20/13 with contacts and only 20/20 with glasses. I can still read OK with my contacts in so no bifocals for me, or monovision stuff either.

If aliens took Rick, they won't keep him long I would bet.
