So far with the new company filtering the email I get no spam at all. But they are monitoring the incoming and out going email.....

We all remember the early days of spam. It was mostly make your willy bigger and or make your boob bigger. I always figured if I met a woman with HUGE hands she had to have been using the breast enlargement cremes. Then spam morphed into the Viagra or other get em up pills.
Now the bulk of them seem to be gift cards. It seems that I have $50 gift cards I need to redeem at every business on the planet.

You better get busy spending those, that is better than the lotto! Other than the food ones, then you will look like a heavy version of Val Kilmer.

Yea, I bet all I have to do is enter my home address and phone number and social security number (for security purposes only) and they will set me up. They likely want my bank routing and checking number to just send me the money.

Yawn...just woke up. Had lunch with Glen, we went to a Latin Grill. I had the Machaca. It's scrambled eggs with onions, tomatoes and pulled beef topped with ranchero sauce. It was pretty good stuff. Got home, sat down at my desk, started going thru the work emails I got while at lunch and next thing I know I'm waking up and it's 1:30.
I'm sure the spams Glen is talking about getting are the ones in the pending report. I've only gotten 3 spams in my inbox total with this new service. And only 2 to 5 pending messages a day. This filters "quarantine" is pretty interesting. It has 3 folders, pending, spam, and not spam. If an email is obviously not spam it just sends it to your inbox. If an email is obviously spam it auto rejects it putting it in the spam folder. If an email is borderline it puts it in the pending folder and sends you and email once a day listing those emails with links to accept, reject, or whitelist each email and link to reject all. If you accept a pending message it sends it on to your inbox and puts a copy in the not spam folder. If you reject any or all, it puts them in the spam folder. So what happens is you only have to deal with the pending messages. But it keeps all messages that you can go online and search thru if you think a messages was sorted wrong.

Our chief pilot has a laptop that is his home computer. He was not paying attention and somehow he got the Palikan virus. He even had to click an install button. He realized his mistake but it was to late and he is not computer savvy enough to kill the virus.
I upgraded his hard drive just 12 months ago to an SSD. I told him then to keep the old spinning drive as a backup. Today he asked for my help to save his documents and just clone his old virus free HD to back to the SSD. I got his hooked up and of course the Win 10 he was running went away back to Win7. So he has lots of updates to catch up on again but he is 100% sure the virus is dead, nuked, killed, destroyed, and gone forever. He is happy.

That reminds me. Want to pick up a fireproof/waterproof drive to use for ultimate safe backups.
Oh and a couple of UPSs so don't have to shut anything down unless the power outage is long term.

Dang, my pet green dragon is only supposed to fly at night and stay hidden in daylight. That is why he is dark green, he hard to see at night. He had been out hunting for the evil red dragon. I will have to punish him tonight for being spotted!
Good hump day morning everyone, except Jim. Happy Saturday Jim.

You have dragons in OK? I want to come visit. I might try and trade a few flying monkeys for one.

Flying monkeys are a dragon's favorite snack! They love to chase them as a sport. Like a bird chasing a bug. That is why the state bird is the scissortail flycatcher is the official state bird!

I don't need no stinkin' calendar!
Morning, y'all. I've been working on a couple of small projects around the house. There's still more to do. I can't see myself becoming bored anytime soon.

I am willing to cut him a little slack, remember the mode of transportation that got him to his new bed location?

![]() I just nuked my leftovers from yesterday's lunch with Richard. I have to laugh every time I use the microwave here at work. We have to climb the step ladder to use it. It is in the back next to the 48 inch mower and the trash cans. That is an old box of 30x40 photographic paper that we want to give away to someone with a darkroom. So far we can't find anyone that wants it. That Cuban samwich was good! Burp.
