I want to issue tasers to everyone that shows up for my funeral and the last person standing gets everything I had.
-------------------

Ouch! I just went to my annual dermatologist visit. Too many years of living in Hawaii as a kid in the days before sunscreen. As usual he blasted a few spots on my face. In the past he used a super long Q-tip he soaked in liquid nitrogen. It would sizzle and did not hurt much until I got to the car. Today he used a new fangled squirt gun. It looked a lot like the tank I use for flushing A/C lines. I just unscrew the lid, pour in the cleaner and then hook up compressed air.

His looked fancier in that it was already pressurized so all he did was blast the spots with a spray of mostly air but some liquid nitrogen. That hurt! Ouch. And of course I have the big red patches on my face now. Oh well.

I often marvel at his operation. He has a staff of at least 8 women. They are all hustling around and working. I got there and checked in, paid my co-pay and waited a few minutes. 60 seconds after my scheduled appointment they call me back. They ask the same questions as last year, and tell me to take off my shirt and shoes and socks. He comes in a minute later, shakes hands, looks at my face and the rest of me, goes to get the pain gun and comes back in and hoses me down. Shakes hands and I am done in 5 minutes, see the ladies up front to make an appointment next year. He keeps the line of patients moving through. He must make a fortune. I am not complaining, just marveling at his great operation.

Some people just seem to know how to schedule things to keep a balance of busy but not so busy the customer suffers. Others, just schedule as much as possible and make people suffer for it.

I asked our son how much a cloud weighs. He said it weighs tons and I was surprised he knew they would be heavy. The average cumulus cloud is about 550 tons. Of course he asked my how they stay up there as a question back.

Everyone knows clouds are equipped with anti-gravity devices.

Morning y'all. Gonna meet a landscape designer this AM. We need to turn our yard from **** into chicken salad. That's gonna make my wallet cry.

Nope, it was parked when it got hit.
Heard from the claim rep and adjuster this morning. Adjuster is coming out Wednesday morning.

Still waiting on the quotes from landscapers to see what it would cost to make my back yard more grass than mud. Sod seems to only last about 2 years.

My beloved 914 got a fender smashed while it was parked every few years. In the 22 years I owned it each fende4 got crunched one at a time, in different parts of town. I was never in the car and I never got a note. Not even the note that say "everyone watching thinks I am writing my name and address for you, but tough luck for you"

It sucks, but people in general suck.

My 914 got a tail light knocked out at work. Guy that did it says he didn't realize he hit it (Think he was hoping I wouldn't notice). I was parked in the compact car only parking area and so was his 3/4 ton pickup. That was why I remembered his truck being parked next to my 914. He paid up.

Have had hit and run while parked incidents in other cars too, the bustard some on a beaches.

Also had to replace the front clip on my BoxsterS because a 4x4 wooden flat fell off a truck 2 cars in front of me on the highway. They were able to dodge it but I couldn't because I had cars on either side of me. I caught up with the truck and made him pay for it. They had way too many flats loaded on that truck and they weren't tied down at all. Was surprised they even had insurance.

There is a 7-11 convenience store that has a free atm. Won't go there unless it is between 2am and 6am because otherwise the odds are way too high for the morons to make physical vehicle to vehicle contact.

Once a photos is on the net, it is there forever. I snagged that from some site or other. I have no idea where.

I had a Pelican ask me to remove one photo I posted a few years ago. It was a photo of his ex-son-in-law. It was a photo with 1/2 a beard shaved off and it was funny and I got it from some site or other. The Pelican said his daughters ex-husband never intended it to be on the net so I did remove it from Pelican, but it is out there.
