I watched the movie Man with the golden gun. Classic 1974 Bond. The funny part is AMC was the featured brand and the classic and sought after Matador model. It is the movie where he did the barrel roll over the river.

Richard, the folks that wrote iTunes are now in charge of the movie billing. There is no other program used by so many that is so screwed up and messed up a stupid as iTunes. Nothing. It should be banned from the planet and replaced by something simple to use like AutoCAD or assembly language.

What got me was they didn't have my correct security questions and to get the $20 charge removed they had to kill my credit card and I could no longer use it on my apple account. This is the third time I've gotten a movie charged to me I didn't rent. All the other times they just said okay and removed the charge.
The same with Cox. I've rented movies that didn't play, and had movies just show up on my account. Called and they took em off, not problem.

Going to call tomorrow and ask until I get someone with a brain, that is very poor customer service.

Wayne--Start left foot braking, switch to left hand during your special alone time, and teach yourself to print then write with your left hand. And when you get really advanced learn to NOT throw like a girl with your left hand.

Can sign my name writing my first name with my left hand and last name with my right hand at the same time. Took a LOT of practice to be able to focus on both at the same time. Was really bored in school. Can also print and write cursive backwards. Sometimes write my name backwards on things and apologize telling them I'm dyslexic. They look at me funny until I say I'm dyslexic then they seem very accepting. Especially if it's something silly like signing in for a doctors appointment. I'm easily amused.

Good Hump day morning all.

It is raining here. I have my El Camino in the body shop to fix a few cosmetic rust worm issues. Nothing major just cutting out the cancer before it gets bad. Kinda like going to a dermatologist. Of course with the Elky in the hospital I am driving the 911. The dang poltergeist came back yesterday. After lunch with Richard yesterday I went to the other end of the shopping center and went to the grocery store to get some fruit for me at work. Everything was running great until I am waiting on the LOOOONG red light at 33rd and Broadway. That is THE busiest intersection in Edmond. Suddenly the engine went to 2,200 dropped to 2,000 and then just quit.

I managed to get it restarted but it is like someone is just killing the ignition at random. I drove back to the office and fortunately is is moderate traffic and 60 MPH most of the way. The engine would quit and I would just pump the gas because there is not much else to try and it would spring to life and run great then off.

It was a only after it had been warm from lunch, a restart for groceries, then back on the road. Yesterday afternoon I drove home with zero issues.

This morning just a mile from the office it started the shut off routine. I will spend some time in the technical forum and see if they have any ideas. It is just strange.

I would LOVE to. I can't find any real replacement. One designed to NOT have a CDI unit since the Carrera does not have that. And one that is set up for the correct voltages. GM made a good solid one but it is NLA. The 944 folks are in the same boat, no coils worth a flip on the market for the cars.

Yea the AC Delco coil is a E587A I can't even find a new old stock one. There are a few coils that are NOT labled as Bosch, but they are evidently just the exact same coil made in Brazil with no Bosch label on it. And the price is the same.

The joys of owning old cars. I have searched for the coil and came up empty. The Bowden cable is NLA except used and I have one on the way.

I came against the same brick wall looking for the cover for the windshield wiper on my El Camino with the delay built in. That same cover was used on millions of Chevys, Cadillacs Buicks and others. I even checked on some sites that will look in the new old stock collections and no one has one except used, and most of them are broken because the moron that worked on the cover could not figure out the connector and just broke it off.

Looks like the PCA has lost it's use of the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Training Center for autocross.

As long as the current chairman was insuring the guidelines were always followed the PCA should not have been doing anything that caused the county commissioners concern. Pretty sure it is the other clubs causing the problems.

Kinda irks me when they say the insurance and waivers don't protect the county when that is specifically what the insurance and waivers are for.

Figured it was lost when I heard it was the Mustang club that got the commissioners involved and a guy that organizes track events (not autocross) got involved. The only thing worse would be the Miata club that was using the training course like a track with multiple cars doing sessions. And have had discussions with the Corvette club chairman and they don't set up courses to keep the speeds under 100mph. Which is a requirement for PCA autocross events. Pretty sure the safety of the PCA events opened the gates to the other clubs.

Hope the PCA uses this as an opportunity to find something better. Personally I think a large parking lot or runway area would be better because there were lots of places at that facility that had bar ditches and burms instead of runoff areas where if you made a mistake you damaged your car or self. It severely limited how the courses could be set up to minimize the risk in those areas. Will take someone committed to putting in the time and effort though.

Yea, after 18 or so years of using the site with no issues suddenly we will all die and the county will be liable. Right now only one of the three commissioners is against it.

The REAL issue is the county DA has a real hate for the sheriff and wants to find any issue at all to make the sheriff look bad. Since the sheriff gave us the OK way back then it must be evil and the DA wants it to be a issue right before the election.

I just get one of the stupid phone calls on my cell phone. My car warranty is about to expire. I was really wanting to get the warranty renewed but the dumb broad said my 1985 Porsche did not qualify. Dang that would be handy to get the warranty renewed right now.

There looks to be a big paved parking lot on the west side of the fairgrounds in google maps.

Yea we will have to buy all new cones because all of ours and the other car clubs store the their cones at the track. We ain't gonna get em back.

The parking lot at the fairgrounds is almost always is use. They park the horse trailers there for the horse shows. We will be talking to the people of the fair this week. We have been hired by the fair every years since the 50s to fly the fair on a weekend at 4:00 to 5:00 PM when they are at the busiest. They compare the layout and do a car count and where people are parking. I have been trying to sell them the 1951 image of the fair. It has changed a LOT since then. Almost all of the fairgrounds was a farmers field since the fair had not moved there yet. They were still at the zoo area back then.

Of course the Fairgrounds are city owned. We will likely have the same issue with liability as the track.

Get a golf cart to set up and collect cones. Paint a big red cross on it, carry a fire extinguisher and some bandaids and call it the Course Accident Response Vehicle.

Yep, they usually make large parking lots for a reason.

Last time I felt like that I was on vacation at the beach on spring break. Woke up real early and went out to watch the sun come up and ended up running down the beach. It felt great just running along on that thin strip of sand that wasn't either too dry or too wet, it felt like running on the clouds. Was running east watching the sun coming up. Then came to a pier. The pier was 10 miles down the beach from our cottage. Didn't matter though, felt just as good running back. Funny thing was when I got back everyone was still asleep so took a shower and started fixing breakfast. Nobody believed I had run to the pier and back.
She is right handed and after trying both ways decided to remain right handed for hand spoons and shoots left handed on long spoons. Wanted to know if there are spoons that eject the other way. I said they do but go get a PS90 since she uses one for airsoft anyway and they eject out the bottom. Of course they are three times the price of an AR that ejects the wrong way. I jokingly said we should pitch in and get a RI Arms 1911 and my sister was like "What!".

At least you guys have a good club and access to an autocross.
