How about a puppy pic to cheer you up?

I wouldn't spend $1000 for the wood, either. What about finding the one piece you need at a wrecking yard?

That looks like a badly abused puppy right there. He needs his belly rubbed.

That was from a week ago. Right now, he's fighting with the empty plastic bottle he likes to play with. He has 4000 others real dog toys but loves that silly bottle.

We are going to go outside and play in the leaves in a minute. My wife and I met with my son's IEP counselor's first thing this morning and then I went right to the elementary school to make popcorn.

That's the problem, not finding ANY wood trim for the doors, even if I buy the whole door panel.

Pepper layed on my lap when I was in the recliner. She still does now except half of her is draped over the arm and her feet are on the floor. Kinda big for a lap dog.

If you were looking to make the car perfect and enter car shows the 1K option might make a little sense. The $37 option will function and not look horrible. 99.9% or the passengers in the car will never notice the difference. Only you and the few other owners of Turbos will know.

Spend the least amount to keep it usable, and spend the money saved on the seat back or something else. And why on earth is your 928 not done yet? I thought it was just finish up the x-pipe and get it running. I would think they would want that car out of there as much as you do.

If you do a build lookup on the cayenne there is no record of the wood trim on the door pulls, it says leather.

That is what I thought on the 928 as well. Next weekend is the Third Coast 928 GTG in Marble Falls. This will be the 3rd year I won't have the 928 for it. The really sad part is the car had already had the engine pulled and rebuilt except for the piston drilling. Everything had been replaced and refreshed if needed. It didn't need anything except the motor pulled, pistons pulled, pistons drilled, new rings and bearings and put back together. I added going back with headers instead of stock exhaust, but that is no big deal. It shouldn't add another 6 months to the repair!

They did have another mechanic quit 3 weeks ago. But dang. I don't understand why they have so much trouble keeping mechanics, whether they are treating them like crap or hiring crap mechanics. They need to get a handle on it, they are ruining their reputation.

Set up a VNC connection and tell them to call you. Log in remotely and relax.

Hey, you need more than VNC that just lets you take control of a remote computer. Gotta have a VPN gateway so you can securely access the whole local network. With a VPN connection I can log into servers, and use Remote Desktop instead of just a VNC to control computers. Also using the Personal Hot Spot on my iPhone i can work from anywhere I have cell signal.

And they think I work from home.

Lately we are moving towards Skype to handle help desk support. But the user has to be present. With remote desktop the users computer only has to be on to monkey with settings and install software.

I built the computer my MIL uses from parts I got from New Egg. I knew that was going to make me the tech support person, but I usually was anyway. I set her up with TeamViewer. It is free for non commercial users and that is non commercial. All she has to do is click the icon and read me the password for that session. I can then take over her machine which is about a billion time faster than asking her to follow the steps. She just freaks out when she has to do any software setup.

big boss put his two cents back in and now I am supposed to be her next week. Well the cold has turned into an ear infection so I'll be the judge of if I come back next week or take a week off to recover and get well.

Hi guys

I'm enjoying a Saturday sleep in, and it not being a work day.

I hope you get over your cold/ear infection quickly David.

I was just saying with the missus last night, with all the stress and work hours I've been putting in this year, it's a wonder that I haven't been really crook through the year.
