Better let it sleep or get lots of paper plates.

Not a silly idea. Think I'll throw a leg over the cbr for an hour before it gets too hot. I think we're sposed to climb to 40C today.

In honor of the daylight savings ending this weekend we decided to do an extra daylight savings hour and that made it closing time. We will get an extra two hours of weekend.

I like this moving the clock around.

Applewood grilled a burger for diner and it was really good. Have I said how much I am enjoying this Big Easy Smoker Roaster Grill?

Got my duplicate lien free title for the Cayenne S today. Now I can start trying to sell it more aggressively, ie. listing on ebay.

Good morning.

Talked to mech yesterday about the 928 and the reason he hasn't started it is hasn't improved the heat shielding for the headers (brake lines and alternator wiring). Says it is next in line to go on one of the lifts.

Do you think the Cayenne S will sell before I get the 928 back?

Sure. The S has only been for sale a short time. It will be next summer before the 928 is ready.

It finally feels like fall here. Overcast and cool. The high is supposed to be 72. Gonna work in the garage on something or other.

Can see how many fingers I'm holding up at almost a foot away this morning.

Probably from the stem cell stuff they put on my foot to grow the flesh back. They said I needed to keep it in a sterile environment because it grows any type of cells it's close too.

Ran an errand this morning in the Turbo Cayenne, sure is fun driving an SUV that accelerates as fast as the 928.

The video says I can't see it because it's restricted. Honest, I'm over 18.

Washed and waxed the Suquinox this morning. Wife went to work but only for a couple of hours.

Going to my drum shop to check out a new drum stick created by the drummer in Dream Theater. It's ok if you don't know who they are. Prog rock stuff.

Whooo hoooo.

I finally got the cruise control working on the Elky. Several years ago it just stopped working and I tried everything I could think of and tested all the parts. About all I could not test was the cruise module computer. I looked in the past and they were as expensive as a Porsche cruise module. I just did not want to throw mega hundred bucks at a possible maybe cure. I saw a factory refurbished new old stock one on Ebay last week and bid low. I got it for 30 bucks. It is buried and hidden in a stupid location. It was a total pain to swap them out but it works! There is some surging that it never did before. That might be the speed buffer and it looks like it is buried in an equally stupid hidden place.

It took longer today than it should have. Mrs Carrera kept interrupting my work with her work. First we took apart and cleaned the fountain in the front garden. It sure is fun to carry around a concrete statue. Then she let me help her clean out the bottom part of the fountain to get the gunk out and cover it with a thick sheet of plastic. Next we attacked the koi pond in the back yard. Up to the attic to get down the pond cover. It helps keep out the leaves and crap over the winter. We weight it down with concrete blocks that she lets me haul out of the storage building. Golly that is fun.

That IS nice of your wife to let you help with her yardwork.

Well, I bought the new pair of sticks AND a new to me crash cymbal. The salesdude and I also had a short drum duel on a couple of kits they had set up.

I have the vehicle clocks set back already and I'll do the house ones before bed tonight. I'll check the smoke alarms and replace the batteries as needed.
