I usually don't replace my smoke alarm batteries until i am trying to figure out where that beep is coming from.

I've always replaced the batteries at each time change. This year I am testing the devices and only replacing if needed. the ones in there now are only about 6 months old and they last much longer than the ones made years ago. Plus, they are not cheap anymore so there's that.

I explained the clock reset procedure to my Mom for her Malibu which is the same as ours. She told me that she left her car running whilst getting her hair cut today. It wasn't in Park and was still running when she came out. Like many cars it has no keys, just the start/stop button on the dash. Luckily, it must have been in neutral or even drive and the concrete parking block thingy held it in place.

Morning y'all!!

Finally replaced the DME Relay in Marilyn, it had done the "I am stopping now with no warning, but the radio is still going, thing" twice in the last week, sooooo, new DME relay only took 5 days to get to Oz from LA, Thanks Pelican, great stuff, so a few swear words later and all good. The old Relay was 06/85, so from new, not bad, only 31 years to fail, will be interesting to see how long the new one lasts.

Good luck y'all for your elections this week, not sure which wanker I would like to win!! Just REALLY hate both of them, do you have any others to choose from, sucks to be you!!!

Cleared out the love pad and washed the carpet, ready for the new fart sack to be delivered sometime this week.

Does that mean you get to use the towels and soap that is special for guests?

There is a guy in Arizona that makes a solid state DME relay. He has two models one is just stock replacement and another will run the fuel pump for 3 seconds if you hesitate at the on position if you just go to start from off there is no real difference. It is handy if the car is slow to start when hot.
I hope you got a made in Germany DME relay and not a URO model. They are useless.

Good Sunday morning everyone.

Only in LA can you go to a car show, and see an F40 pull in with a Citroen behind it, while standing next to a Renault Alpine A110, which is parked next to an R5 Turbo.

In the meantime, my 3 yr-old is tugging me to the section with Panteras, a Jalpa, an Espada, and a Countach.

Got another email from someone wanting to pay for the Cayenne with Paypal then their shipper will pick it up, ha ha ha. I just reply that I can only take cash, bank transfer, or escrow account.

Oh someone also asked if I was interested in trading, but didn't say for what. Would trade evens in a second for a 1998 911 Turbo S.

Hey all!

Smoke detectors are inspected and the clocks are all backdated.

It's just beautiful here today. Sunny and 68 degrees. I chewed up some more leaves and have a fire going right now, started with old drum sticks I found in my case. It kills me to do it as there MIGHT be an iota of life in them even though they are shredded in the middle. At $10 a pair I just see money burning. Now, the wife's purse collection would have no effect on me if they were to accidently fall into the fire pit.

Oh man, now the UFO whistle blowers have changed from saying there is going to be a fake extraterrestrial invasion on voting day to put Clinton in offce to Clinton's campaign staff is working on being part a public announcement that area 51 has been a space port and NASA and several other agencies have been secretly doing space travel.

These are the same whistle blowers that said that in 2012 UFOs were going to appear over the major cities of the world so our government would have to admit the extraterrestrials exist.

Yes!

This afternoon smoked the other half of the turkey breast. Got lazy an just smoked it without injection, brining, or rub. Just turkey breast an the applewood smoke. Read up and am supposed to do turkey with the gas knob on 3/4 instead of low like I did the first one. Got to 150° in an hour. Yanked it out, wrapped it in foil, and put it in the microwave (not on) for another 30 minutes to finish cooking out as it cooled.

Verdict...
Juicy, tender, and delicious. Juice ran out as I sliced it. The slices left juice on the plate as well.

With this cooker there is no reason to brine it. The only reason to inject it would be for flavors so don't think the marinade would need any salt or lemon juice. Without the brine or marinade having salt juice it catches in the aluminum foil tray can be used to make gravy.
