That's funny, if they only knew that they'd get better throughput on the hard wire...

When I first put in wifi could get 4 houses away in any direction. Now can't get out of my yard without the signal getting too low to even see on istumbler.

My wireless in my house is faster than my internet service.

Morning all.

I have been in my attic many times. I hate it with a passion. I put down a path to the area over my home office. It still sucks.

Azzzy, what part of the USA are you coming to this trip?

Hey all.

Off to my hometown tonight to see my friend's daughter play. Looking forward to having a good meal that I don't have to clean up after. We haven't been to a sit down restaurant in a long time.

My daughter is going with me and already told me she is ordering a steak. That's my girl!

I might get the Shepard's Pie this time although the fish and chips are also tasty.

My Mom was admitted to the hospital last night so we will stop and see her. We were going to anyway but now it's just a different place. I talked to her this morning and she didn't sound good. I hate to even say it but I think she is ready to stop fighting.

Wow Wayne. On one hand, I want to say "have fun" visiting your home town, seeing your friend's daughter play, and going out to dinner. But I also want to say I'm sorry to hear about your mother. I wish her all the best.

We're in for another two days of rain and strong winds. I love all this rain but it's cutting into my time for sailing and driving the 964 garage queen.

I'm sitting at my desk, looking out at the palm trees, the wind and the rain, listening to reggae music, and thinking "no worries, mon, it's just another tropical storm."

WTF!!!! Once last week, then again Saturday while driving in the Cayenne Turbo I was in the right lane of 4 lane road and someone in the left lane hit their brakes and pulled into my lane without looking forcing me to slam on the brakes and almost go over the curb to avoid them. Both times the car in front of them stopped to turn left and they waited till the last minute to go around. Good thing there were no cars behind me or I would have gotten rear ended.

Then this evening I was not able to avoid the old lady that hit her brakes and pulled into my lane and hit the right rear of her SUV with the drivers front of the Cayenne Turbo! There was a parking lot entrance or I would have also gone over the curb. Wasn't a hard hit, didn't show any damage on her car but put a crack in my driver side bumper cover and broke the front lower valence were the fog light is on the driver's corner. CARP!!! There wasn't even any other cars in front or behind us for 1/4 mile!

Is the turbo invisible, am I cursed, is the Turbo cursed, what the heck is going on?

It were a pair of old ladies with a handicapped card hanging from her mirror. She told the officer she changed lanes and slowed down to make a turn at the last minute without looking. It will be all taken care of by her insurance, but dang it what a freakin hassle.

They've been out to get me for over a week now I tell ya. And it's been people in SUV's too.

I am not real sure how the math works but the average driver is way below average. I guess I bring the overall average up?

On a regular basis I see other drivers not looking at the road and see them drifting into the other lanes. I make it a point to not travel in a position where I am even close to the other driver's blind spots. Many drivers just don't check the blind spot.

I have not been in an accident since the 1978 when some idiot lady decided scraping ice off the windows was for other people and did not see a stop sign and hit me in my 914. After that I learned to assume they were all idiots and not believe they would stop until I saw solid evidence. The kamikaze deer attacking my car 10 years ago was beyond my control.

Good Monday morning all.

She passed me to put me in her blind spot! Like I said this was the third time recently someone passed me only to change into my lane while brake checking. I didn't cut them off or tailgate or anything that would enduce road rage.

The real answer is you need a WHITE car.

Everyone sees a pretty white car and knows it is there!

Except cops, they ignore them!

That bites the big one Richard.

Talking about idiot drivers...

It was foggy as heck yesterday. We left about 3pm so it was light out but the fog was very thick all the way across the state. We saw many vehicles without lights on. I had my frog lights and headlights on so I KNOW we were seen by others.

We left for home around 9 and it was so foggy that you couldn't see the lights of the gas stations off the highway.

We had a good time as always seeing Ally perform and talking to friends. Man, Sarah can put away the grub, though. She ate fries, mashed taters, almost all of her steak and then had ice cream for dessert. I went with the fish and chips and 1 Stella.

Visited my mom before and after the tavern. She is doing better and will probably go home today. She was dehydrated from being sick for the past 2 weeks. Being diabetic it really messes her up.

morning all. been off the mark the last few days. feeling better today.

Glen I gutted the a/c from front to back I don't want to know the cost to replace the whole thing. That and I'd rather spend the money on some other part of the car.

Did you keep the parts? The brackets and switches are the hard parts to replace. The condensers and evaporators likely needed to be replaced anyway. All new hoses, condensers, evaporators, receiver-dryer, blowers and such are part of the kit anyway. Besides the switches and brackets and fan housings I still have my original front and rear condensers. Most of the system was replaced. It would likely cost 3 grand minimum to do it all for you.

It likely would be easier to sell that car and get one with AC. Hey its your car and you do live far enough north that AC is not vital. I lived with a non AC Porsche for 22 years. BTDT, aint gonna do it again, but that is just me.

With the stock AC it was hard to want to drive three months of the year for me down here. My wife would not ride with me in the daytime all summer until I upgraded the AC system.

I did find out the registration will be a two part thing again. They don't have an issue with adequate housing but they felt it was easier to do the split registration. I don't know when the registration opens up as yet. Soon I bet.
