Wow, a 2 digit number. You got in early. The really low number are reserved for the national officers. Caren Cooper gets number 1. The other national folks get the rest of the low numbers. When I ran the registration process back in the stone ages of 1996 I assigned myself a number in the 70s. At the Fort Worth Parade they assigned me 32. I have been as high as the 800s. I have the old badges on a wall in the garage. Some were signed by Peter Porsche.

Carry a sharpie with you and if you see a Porsche family member they are happy to sign your badge or other item.

So my double secret registration number worked for ya? Cool.

If you don't get the email from PCA soon check with them to get your paperwork in order. You have to have that for the main registration that comes up next. That is where you have to go through every screen and answer yes or no every possible event and meal. That do not accept skipping an answer.

fun.

I sent her an email asking if I should have had such a low number. Is it possible the low numbers went to the locals?

If you got in early, you get a low number. Lat year I was just over 100. I saw some number over 900.

well it should be all set now.

I'll be driving in on Sunday the 9th and have to leave in the am on Wednesday. I may get up really early and beat the heat if we are having any this year.

Oh sure. I can call and give my insurance agent a vin number over the phone and add a vehicle to my insurage. But, have to send something in writing to remove it? Good thing a text counts as something in writing!

Yea that makes sense. Like when I called AT&T about shutting off my dads DSL and internet after he died. They said they need all sorts of paperwork. I told them once I got the courts to give them to me I would but from that date foreword the bill will not be paid. They decided they could shut it off after all.

Just sent a text...

Sold the 04 Cayenne S.

She texted back...

Who the heck is this.

Guess it's actually a good thing my number is not in her address book. Don't know if my Verizon account's Caller ID send my name or not. Seems not.

Think Verizon has it backwards. They don't send caller ID unless you PAY $3 a month to send and receive caller id. Yeah Right.

Oh yeah...

The Cayenne S actually sounded pretty good as he roared off down the street. Driving it you just don't really hear it.

are you sure they are not sending it but you have to pay $3 to read it?
