It's a puppet head I stick out the window after passing someone really fast. Hopefully they are too busy cracking up to cell phone the police.

Not since the days Disco was new! And disco sucked even then.

Morning all. We actually went to eat with another couple last night. They grilled out on the back porch. Now forget the average back porch. His back porch is about the same square footage as my house. All screened in. The view is an incredible landscaped pool and his Man Cave garage. The man cave has his motor home and a bunch of Porsches. Totally amazing over the top fantastic home. I smiled when I noticed a decorative item in the kitchen that was a cast of the words Kitchen. I figured it was for when you get lost wandering around in the house you are sure it is the kitchen since it is probably 800 square feet or more in the kitchen next to other huge rooms.

My wife brought a Strawberry pie that was a hit. Our host had seconds as did his grand daughter and they were eyeing the remainders and were happy when we offered to leave it and thanked us again for the pie.

Yep, we did. He has an astonishing place. The driveway would make a fun autocross course. Just up the driveway through all the curves and around the circle parking and back to the main road.

Think he messed up a bit. You need to be able to see the car collection from the bar in the man cave. Now it's really just a pool house with a huge garage.

Things might be looking up. Mechanic says my 928GTS is running!

Morning all. We had rain this morning so no mowing for today. Gonna have to bail hay by the time the ground dries up.

Who the heck keeps washing their car to make it rain!

Know it wasn't me. When I got home from the grocery store last night it was a challenge unloading the Cayenne. After pulling in the garage and closing the overhead there was a distinctly pungent odor of striped polecat.

While carting the groceries in Pepper was sniffing the passenger side tires and side of the Cayenne. Got my sprayer of Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Remover and sprayed that side of the Cayenne down. Tires, side, underside, wheel wells, that whole side of the Cayenne. Seemed to help a little. Made sure the door to the house was closed and planned to apply a second coat of odor remover and park it to air in the drive today.

After spending the night closed up in the garage, braced myself expecting to open the door and be hit by that familiar pungent odor. Was pleasantly surprised. No stank pungent skunky smell, not even a hint. That Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Remover sure does the trick.

Was still weird though. Didn't hit nuthin or even see any road kill. Maybe there was a polecat doing target practice on passing vehicles?

We just got back home after driving some of the twisty roads (Mulholland Hwy & Decker Road) in Malibu canyon. It was great fun exercising the 964's suspension and also the nut behind the wheel. The only butt-clenching moment was about 1/2 mile from home, when a woman stopped at a traffic light, decided to just pull out and make a left turn right in front of us as we approached the intersection (we had the green light). Saved again by Porsche brakes!

Glad you were able to turn a potential accident into just and close call incident.

Well, the sun kept poking out and the wind was enough to dry the grass enough to mow. That Bermuda grass was real happy. If it was male grass it was on Viagra. It was growing a lot in the last week.

Funny, even though I haven't met you I instantly recognized you behind the wheel of that white 964. (I was the guy on the bike wearing the Luftgekuehlt shirt). Nice car. I took mine out yesterday to keep it in running condition, I usually go out in the afternoon though.

In other news, hi everybody.

Most of you probably heard about my dad. We really had a lot of special memories together and I am doing ok, but I do need to stop and think from time to time.

As time goes by I am missing him more, when I can't share something with him that I knew he'd like. Not sure how many more airshows or races I'll go to. I realize that most of the reason I went was to spend time with him. There's a big hole now.

Thinking about moving back in with my mom so she can retire but I like my condo, even if it is small. I've been trying to spend lots of time with her but she works weekends frequently. Most of you have seen the wildflower pictures so we've been out enjoying nature together.

Lots of uncertainty about the future.

Trying to be more social now (i.e. trying to meet a girl) but hard to shake old habits.

Condolences. It's a bit tougher when the parents go and you don't have your own family to keep your heart busy.
