Burger night. Cast iron griddle on the Big Green Egg. Nice and crusty!

"No competition for crabs"??? I'll take a good Indian dinner over those stinky crabs ANYDAY! (the crabs are a wife thing, being from Johns Island SC). That dal look great.

Jeff's pic looks so good, I should feel guilty about this.

I used a store-bought crust and was going to make a quiche.
But I wasn't following a recipe... just going from memory, and I forgot the half & half.

I don't know what to call this mistake, but it sure was good.

One of my customers gave me some of this today...said it's a wonder product to use - many applications. Guess it was created back in 1958 in Croatia and Poland and now sold in 40 countries worldwide.

According to Wiki here's the ingredients:
salt max. 56%
dehydrated vegetables 15.5% (carrot, parsnip, onions, celery, parsley leaves)
flavour enhancers (MSG max. 15%, disodium inosinate)
sugar
spices
cornstarch
riboflavin (for yellow coloring)

Seems like basically a sodium-based seasoning.

I think in Spain they'd call that a Tortilla, but I could be wrong. Looks/sounds tasty to me. Egg, cheese and stuff, what's not to love?
