Not having a real fridge till this week cut into cooking time as there was no room for leftovers in a bar fridge.

Clam Chowder

I had never heard of this. Had to look it up. How are you serving it? In a Pita?

Ok, Not Dinner. But I was trying to learn to carve cakes. First car attempted was the Renault R5. Turned out ok but more practice is needed.

No pita....just grabbing one and eating it!! Served with grilled onions and potatoes. My wife is Croatian and this is one of the many "treats" we enjoy!

Thought this up today and had to try it. Made little pies in a muffin tin with mac & cheese (Annie's) with jalapeno, bacon and half of a campari tomato with some egg/milk as a binder. They should have been amazing, instead 30 minutes in the oven killed the flavors and it would need double of everything: cheese, jalapeno, bacon to make them as you would think they should be. The leftover jalapeno mac & cheese not used has a great pepper-cheese flavor completely absent in the pies.

Bangers and mash' good honest working class food for an honest days work. We had a major sandstorm come through and I've been shoveling sand so the neighbor can get into his garage

This is the annual "kitchen sink" dinner, when we go through the garden and pick the last of what's edible, throw it all together, and make a meal. Every year is different.
This is:

bell pepper
green tomatoes
yellow tomatoes
red tomatoes
Zuchini
Green beans
Yellow wax beans
Anaheim pepper
Hungarian wax pepper
Serrano peppers
Habanero peppers
Copra onion
Spanish Rojo garlic
Grilled chicken on top

Blackened Sea Bass. (w/Paul Prudhomme's Red Fish Magic Blackening Spice). Comes frozen unseasoned in individual portions from Costco. Fantastic!

FWIW, while we do cook, my wife recently subscribed to Freshly. It's come in handy quite a few times. The meals are healthy (paleo), they claim to be "chef-prepared" and they do taste quite good.

Also gluten free.

Anyway, they come cold, you put them in the fridge, good for about a week. 2 minutes in the microwave and they're ready. We've also sent them to a friend who is recuperating from knee surgery.

From their website:
