Due to the current economic situation, this will be for dinner for the next two weeks.

When the supply runs out, this will hopefully keep us nourished for the final week of isolation

It uses a Taiwanese rice wine.

Vash- That's beautiful 台湾麻油鸡汤! Did you use dark sesame oil in the broth? Noodles look very QQ and love the chili side. This week was Japanese Beef Curry at Casa de Missed Approach. Thank God I was able to score some Fukujinzuke pickles before the grocery onslaught. I don’t overthink the Roux- S&B Golden Curry Hot in the box. Total comfort food.

Cooking on a Porsche 911- The compound butter made the difference.

Didn't feel like cooking last night so got take out. Vegetarian pizza and Greek salad......

Not nearly as healthy as yours Vash, but I was starving and it was "any port in a storm" time!

Pantry Dive. Cleared out cauliflower, old cheese, mixed pasta, a borderline butternut squash and a tiny hunk of Savoy cabbage. And skim lactose free milk.

The healthiest Mac cheese with cauliflower I’ve ever made. It was light. Needed more cheese for sure.

I just had the BEST Corned Beef and Cabbage I have EVER had! Will post a pic when I have my next serving.

I made it yesterday. 10 hours in my slow cooker using this recipe, which I followed to a T. And I did add extra potatoes. Only had 1 lb. of carrots on hand or would have added more of those as well. Size of meat was 3.8 lbs.

The beef was cooked so perfectly it practically melted in my mouth....mmmmmm........

I put the cabbage wedges in about an hour before finish and left them in for another 1/2 hour after turning the heat switch to off.

Put it all in Tupperware containers in the fridge, except for what I had for my dinner.

Then today warmed some back up in a small pot on the stove on low (3/10) heat for about 1/2 hour. Added a little water to the pot and a loose fitting lid. Yum....leftovers never tasted soooo good!

Make sure you slice the beef up after cooking. Then proceed as needed with portioning.
