A Sunday shoot with my new 7mm Rem Mag.
A nice drive...  The gun was quite nice to shoot.  I hadn't fired it before so I was reasonably pleased with the six shots at 200 meters. This is the patched target before it went back in the rack.

Thanks. The gun was quite nice to shoot. The other guys were using AR15s with silencers so weren't appreciating the big boom of the 7mm Rem Mag

Picked these up today, former Porsche racer, bought them in the late 80s and for the most part put them in his closet. The P220 has only been fired for the CCW permitting back in the 80s..
     Bigger Boom stick.

Byron, that's the best generation of the P220 there is. I have one too. I've had it refinished and it's my number one gun. Got about 12k rds. through her and will never part with her.

I agree with Rick, your 220 is a great gun! I have one that was made shortly after yours that is indeed one of my favorites. I've had mine for years, have fired and carried it a lot and it is still in great shape. I bought mine from a gunshop that handled police trade ins. I think I paid $400 for it!! Hope you enjoy your example as much as I have mine!

In a large gun store here locally today, not known for having older used guns, and stumbled across this very nice matching numbers Spreewerk P-38 from late 1944. I love the machining marks, evidence of quantity over quality by that time.

I've got one just like that, Dave. My father-in-law picked it from a German acquaintance in France in 1945.
