Took the broken hoop off the rear today and re-lacing begins! Weird thing is that the spokes gave so much strength, the broken rim worked fine

I didn't mention the law at all. Pay attention.

I mentioned his ACTIONS, which obviously contributed to the incident. By taking up the entire lane WHEN IT WAS NOT NECESSARY and holding up traffic like he owned the entire ****ing road and everyone else could go to hell, he was asking for it.
A trait not too uncommon among cyclists.

He angered the motorists behind him by unnecessarily holding them up, delaying them on purpose. That resulted in road rage and got him exactly what he was asking for, and most likely DESERVED.

You stupid pitiful little excuse for a man.

So if someone is lawfully in your way, you see no problem running them down? There's too many folks driving around with this mindset, thank God for the proliferation of mini cameras to put these people in jail where they belong. Does calling someone stupid & pitiful help you make your point?

wow..

i hope i NEVER hit a bicyclist..ever. i've seen the most rude, unaware, self centered cyclist on my route..one time i had to pull over,,there was a huge group of them going right down the middle. i pulled over..drank my coffee, went over my plans and made a few phone calls. the thought of mowing the entire peloton of weekend riders down never crossed my mind.

they didnt deserve to die. being a DB isnt enough reason for me...

Surfing the youtube, I found this Old School BMX show/video. Some cool bikes I had forgotten about (nomorea) , and good high definition resolution. Oh yeah, and good late night porno music. What's not to love?

Where was he doing anything 'on purpose'? He was exercising his rights as a citizen on a road he helped pay for.

You're a despicable excuse for a human being, Sam - no offense intended.

(But, since you claim to be a christian, I guess Jesus will still let you be a special snowflake in heaven)

Had to upgrade! Added SRAM eTap to my C-DALE Super Six High Mod Evo. The bike is amazing! Just getting back into it after my 2nd heart episode and it feels goooood!

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.

Install was very easy and adjusting on the fly while riding is nice. I was talked out of getting the XG1190 cassette but I'm pretty sure I'm going to order it tomorrow. Rear shifting is fine but with the new cassette, I suspect it would be smoother and less choppy/direct on the downshift. Front works flawlessly. I've got to take my Merlin out again to feel the differences between the 2 systems. I think the di2 is faster BUT...I'll reserve final thoughts until I install new cassette.
