DO IT NOW! or forevar HOLD YER PEACE!

you will double if not make more on it. thats a fact. doubt me????

just look what happened after the 1986 ban. nuff said.

i'm tickled 6 ways to sunday with mine. adjustable check rest, adjustable stock, rails if ya wanna slap a lazar beam death ray on it. etc etc.

if ya can scam a 20" barrel DO IT!

its scarey accurate with just crap 147gr nato rds i had stashed. simple to teardown and clean.

yankeehillmachine has the cleaning kit for it.

my amigo is an ex marine, he got to play with all sorts of cool toys. he was in a amtrak off the coast of beirut when the morons blew the hell out of the barracks there during the ronald reagan era. he was grinning ear to ear after dumping a 20rd mag thru it.

if ya do buy it, start grabbing any spares you can find like myself.

see its a revolving wheel with me, one month its lever actions, then bolts, then semi autos, then revolvers, then semi auto pistols then shotguns. it never stops and keeps the mind from going stagnant.

right now its SCAR TIME BABY!

ya hear of a 20" barrel tell me where and how much and a phone # or e-mail.

in less than 5 minutes i can change out barrels, already got my 0-70 inch pound torque wrench for it. torque setting for all T-25 torks on it is 62 inch pounds.

p.s. the DOD(dept of defense) ISSUE scope mount is the american defense mfg quick detachable mt. in black and FDE.

the DOD issue scopes are trijicons 3x9 /ACOG's/2.5x10 NIGHTFORCE/and the leupold 3.5 x 10 x44mm mark IV with illuminated TMR reticle.

i went with the leupold. i have quite a few 3.5x10 leuppys and i have STANDARDIZED with them to make things SIMPLE as far as my comeups with fed 168gr BTHP rds. 1/2" MOA per click windage /elevation.

STOOOOOPID SIMPLE!

think about it for a minute, ya gots umpteen freeking spoons with umpteen different freeking scopes with different click MOA's and then throw in different rounds...................ya aint gonna hit the broadside of a barn without some ser-i-azz headaches.

doing all my scopes the same was one of the SMARTER things i have done over many years now.

i can literally grab a spoon from my safe, go to range or hunting, look at my come-ups pasted on inside left of stock, laser range find target.................and BEAN THE LIVING SNOT OUT OF IT 1ST SHOT!

i sight ALL of them in at 200yds. repetitive behavior begets repetitive results.

try having different scopes and see how screwed up things get fast.

i just gotta get closer than a 1000yds for my next bull elk hunt. a .50 barrett would have come in DAMN HANDY this past year! yeah my alaska hunting buddy just bought a bohica bolt .50 and a armalite .50 cal bolt for bears in alaska. cant wait to go up with him some year.

Stand well away from your buddy when he touches off that Bohica. They went tits up and reopened shop here in the valley as Valley Ordnance Works (or some such).

There have been more KB!s with Bohicas than all the other brands put together.

I just confirmed on the local classifieds - anything semi-auto rifle has doubled. And unlike the AK red-beard posted, these guns are seilling.

The stores must be at least busy with private party transfers. I think I'll swing by a local "tactical" gun joint today just for ****s and giggles.

Krauthammer on Fox said that Obama's executive orders mean little. He also speculated that it will be the Dems refusing to pass any anti gun legislation because when they did so for Clinton they got hammered in the following congressional election.

I hope he's right. Perhaps this is all just the result of panic.

For the record, I don't have an AK47 or AR15. I always thought the "black rifle" craze was silly. I just have no use for one. I do believe in the right of the people to buy one, though.

I just saw a serious analysis. There were no Executive orders. These were "Executive Actions", or basically...memos.

Was looking for a 226 today and came across a bunch of new ...guess they are M-4s...m-16s dressed up like a AR-15s...plastic expanding stocks, flash suppressor, etc. some with sights, some set up for scopes. $800 plus change w/o sights, $900 plus change with sights. Is this something I should consider?

Fint, if you can find an AR in .223 for $800, buy a few of them. Two mos. ago that might have been an avg. retail price. Today it's a steal. You could flip in on Backpage and double your money in 30 min., probably faster than you'd be able to read all the emails you got. But if you saw that in a store, I'm guessing you saw a .22 LR version of an AR. Sports Authority sells them here and they usually run about half the price of an AR in .223.

BTW, I'm curious what stores you visit in VA. I used to go to Blue Ridge Arsenal in Chantilly, Potomac Arms in Old Town Alex and once in a while Clark Bros. in Warrenton. There are more, but those are the decent ones I remember. Hands down best one is Green Top near King's Dominion, right off 95.

Sorry so cryptic...had my wife send that on her cell for me. These are new S&W M&P 15 556 NATO in the box with a 30 round magazine. The M&P 15 OR (Optics Ready) was $899.99 out the door and with the hard (M-16 style) sights (just like they issue when they send us places)about $100 more.
I had no idea if that was a good price... But it seemed like it so I wanted to check with someone who knew. No ammo available though.

I wasn't watching those before the panic, but today that's a fantastic price. I'd buy 3-4 and flip at least two of them to make the other ones "free." The S&W ARs tend to be at the lower end of the price range and I haven't shot them. But I can't imagine they're bad or cheap quality guns at all. Hell, the SIG 556 had all kinds of quality control issues when they first came out and they cost plenty more than that six yrs. ago.
