The boards weren't designed for the 914 but will fit. The 914 brake clips would need to be modified for the smaller 911 board although that is a minor change.

Here the 911 brake board is sitting on a 914 brake board. We've done 2 batches of 914 brake boards; the latest batch finished up a couple of months ago.

Here's my 930 with LED brakes and turnsignals in day and night. Maybe not exactly what you're looking for but close. I don't have the brakes on but the turnsignal has the same number of LEDs pointed towards the rear of the car. The brake board should be as bright as the turnsignals when on brake.

Here's the first 3rd brake light for the periscope fixture. These spacers will hold the board in place.




Installation is simple: open housing; remove bulb; plug in pigtail; slide board in; replace cover.

Lit up.

LED Board power:
I = 0.17 Amp
Power = 2.4W

T199 Bulb (28W bulb; wrong bulb; should be 1156 @ 21W)
I = 2.27 Amp
Power = 31W

Light output:

LED Board: 130 lux
Bulb: 90 lux

As I estimated, the LED board is about 1.5x brighter.

Sorry, been busy at work. These 3rd brake lights for the periscope fixture would be $30 + $10/$25 CONUS/Canada shipping. I have 3 boards now, I think at least 1 is spoken for.
