OK, I can't find your PayPal info on these threads... probably I'm overlooking the obvious. Please send your PayPal info to me and I'll get payment to you for one of the "periscope" LED assemblies.

Thanks for the interest. Only had 3 sets and I think they're all spoken for. They fit nicely in the 2 periscope housings I have but I'd like to see them in actual vehicles to make sure they fit nicely and work well.

I had a question about dimensions of the 3rd brake light assembly. Here's the PCB and support frames.

spoke, thanks for posting the 3rd brake light dimensions. It will fit the high mounted 3rd brake light for the '86 with just a little bit of filing of the arms and reversing them. So I'm going to take one. PM on its way.
Cheers,
Johan

Johan,

When you say high mounted, do you have a coupe? My '86 is a coupe so I checked on mine. Looks like the existing board would fit with different spacers.

All three 3rd brake boards are gone. I'll be ordering more.

And one of them came to me!

I ordered on last Friday and it arrived today! The 'periscope' LED assembly arrived safe n' sound, packed superbly and super-fast delivery, indeed.

As a guy who spent my entire career in electronic manufacturing, I am probably fairly well equipped to evaluate gizmos like this, and I think Spoke's product is simply excellent... both in design and construction!!

Installation took less than 40-seconds, and it fit and works perfectly ('87 Factory Turbo Look coupe).

I'm looking forward to getting a set of Spoke's "round" brake lights as soon as they are available.

Sure... and you will install yours in 37 seconds!! I think it took me 40 seconds because I'm old and slow. Dang, if I hadn't already removed the periscope's "lid" it would have probably taken me a full minute!

Seriously, you're going to love this.

Tob

Good to hear the 3rd brake PCB went in well. I'm going to order another small batch now that I know they fit and work. I want to fit them in the 3rd brake housing for my coupe.

We got a pile of the round brake boards in and are starting to assemble them. We will have several sets ready for shipping in 2 weeks.

I installed the new brake light boards. The design of these things is fantastic. They are very easy to install and well worth the money. The increased light output really helps. Thanks for the quality product Spoke!

Hi Spoke...Mine also arrived at my mail box in Blaine WA in only two days...Unfortunately I wasn't able to get to Blaine WA until a day ago. (about a 2.5 hr. round trip from Vancouver)...'But' now installed the difference is a day and night difference - Literally. ..As others have stated, they are so simple to install, including the way you have designed the four 'grips' with the stainless hex bolts, is such an excellent way to secure them.

The point is that when the brakes are applied, all three of the brake lights, are so blindedly bright as are the tail lights - Amazing!.

"Hat's off to You"
for coming up with such a well though out excellent product.

Thanks!
PS - The fit is perfect

Thanks for the feedback. Good to hear the fit is ok.

We're now building round and square pattern LED brake boards. For sale here:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/885359-fs-led-brake-pcbs-round-square-led-configuration.html#post8819089

I'm planning to run some more 3rd brake lights. I want to make some clips to fit in the coupe 3rd brake fixture. I'll test them out on my 930.

spoke -- mine arrived, mounted right up and are a STRONG improvement over stock.

My '86 targa has a 3rd brake light at the top center of the rear window -- would love to get an LED brake light for this as well.

Thanks!
