I had the same sunroof problem as you, except it was sporadic. While the microswitch between the visors worked fine, the little hooked metal clip on the sunroof itself wasn't always depressing it...

That would probably look pretty badass especially if you weather it a bit. Staining it a bit rougher/darker around the seams would make it look like a gritty track beast or some kind of Mad Max 944.

From time to time mine won't start, but after a quick jiggle of these connectors it fires up just fine. The odd part is the connectors themselves are clean, relatively new, and snap together crisply.

Also, what's the consensus on stop-leak products? I'm hesitant to use one, but also hesitant to drop over $1k on this problem after all the labor (and a probable belt job while it's all apart).

I got under there again, hoping it was the back end of the hose on the water pump, but unfortunately it's not. Under the car while it ran, I saw a few drops come from the seam on the bottom of belt...

Turns out it was a loose sway bar. For once, a cheap and easy fix. I also found out the front tie rod end is on its way out while it was up.
