Good to know. I have a friend with the first turbo converted in the US to RUF spec and it is a M505 car. It is in need of restoration and I was hoping this would be an accurate source for what was done to convert the body. If I can get him to start the project I might be back in touch.

Here's an original manual I found on eBay. The price, not for the faint of heart!
The Porsche manual, WKD 494 621, located on the lower left hand corner of the illustration, is the official part number you can use to find a photocopy?
Here's the link: Slantnose Technik Publication

Yowza. I pick up these where I can if I need them or not. Mostly from retired mechanics looking to unload over the years. Good way to buy hardware as well. I have about 10 bankers boxes full of them. Some I suspect worth considerably more than others. I recently paid $5 ea for these at a swap meet. Will people pay this much?

I guess Davey lost out. I just like to learn and these speak volumes.

Sorry

Anthony, I'm impressed!
If you really want to go all out, here's an impressive library of Porsche Workshop Manuals and Bulletins. And, yes, the all elusive Slantnose Techik Document is there.

Thanks for the link. I don't know how I missed that. I could use a few but I have the majority of what is there already. A bit more than I want to pay for books I might never use. Although I could use the tiptronic manual. I have friend with one and he can't find anyone to mess with them although I don't care to either.
