Great work.
Since no one asked... Need any test cars?

I am glad you are doing these and they look great. For normally aspirated, will this be the final configuration or will you build them out with longer primaries such as the 29-31" length 911 motors normally use? If you want to completely blow everything else out of the water you would want to make sure no other header has anything on you technologically, which if you'd like to consider, includes stepped primaries, such as illustrated below with 1 5/8" on the first third, and 1 3/4" on the second third, (or 1.5" - 1 5/8") your mitered collector, and a reverse cone immediately after such as these headers. This helps preserve midrange while adding high rpm flow like a set of progressive tapering megaphones. Add a heat option and design it to also fit the 964s and 993s, targeting your price point similar to SSIs and everybody will be buying yours.

I see the competition for mb's headers as Fabspeed

Steve, unfortunately it is not likely we can do all of that and add heat exchangers while retaining a retail price of <$1200.
This product is designed for a different niche than SSI and will be priced competitively for what it is. Flipped flanges are not a problem so 964/993 option is viable. Yes the headers pictured are not complete. There will be extensions that bolt up to stock configuration mufflers such as M&K.

excellent work guys. I agree, heat along with larger primaries would put the product in competition with Fabspeed, along with B&B, and if it will work with a factory style muffler, that would be a big plus.

I hate resonance/drone
Is there anything that can be added during the design process to reduce resonance? To me this is the most important factor.

I think that, well, atleast in my opinion...resonance is created in the muffler....not in the headers...

Nice
When do you anticipate the pre-order folk will get their headers?

I am going to start building the secondary assembly today. Primaries are finished and all the tooling is done. Secondary Y-joint is finished and all tooling done. All that is left is tooling on the 2 y-assembly slip joints and of course final fitment test. All should be finished in a couple of weeks.
So to directly answer your question, the first complete set should go out the door in about 3 weeks.

911 headers are done. Secondary pipes will take no time. I was referring to 930 headers.
I removed my exhaust system and bolted on the headers today. If you can turn a door knob you can install these headers. Took maybe 10 minutes to bolt up with gaskets. Everything very easy to get to as designed. This is the 930 version, the mirrored 911 version is just as easy to install. ![]() ![]()

Great product! But decreased clearance would be a problem for those who want to lower their cars or for use on some country roads.

Missed this reply. Thanks! Certainly makes life easier than having to weld all of the pipes. Looks like I need to buy some springs and clips! What is the rule of thumb on flare length?

Will they also work with the backdated oil lines that most of us running racing headers already use?

I know a nice new shiny 2.5L race motor that would be happy to test these out....

![]() ![]() Those lines pictured above are the non-backdated lines. As you know the backdated lines work with the more commonplace headers and are typically required. It looks like the new headers stop well short of the oil cooler where the backdated half-circle U-shaped oil line is routed. I think the backdated or the later style lines will both work. Also a friend of mine (cstreit here on Pelican) uses slip-fit headers on his race car. They don't leak and also are much more installation friendly.
