Fuel Pumps

Checked both fuel pumps today and ironically the newer looking front pump was frozen while the rear, which looks original was fine.

Could you guess from the pic which one is toast?

HNY Rick ! ! !

Looking forward to you getting to the final stages so I can pay you a visit.

I just noticed you did indeed change the intercooler mounts to rods/fittings (like talked about earlier in the thread) - big improvement - you did a very nice job with them!

let me see...the 3rd brake lite & rear wiper...??

WERK I 01-01-2012 03:38 PM

......license plate?

CaptainCalf 01-01-2012 03:50 PM

911 tweaks is right 3rd light & wiper are gone & I think it's much better...

Dave, you're also right. I didn't figure I needed a plate until this monster is ready to eat pavement, which may be soon if I can get my hands on the final set of parts;)

JeremyD 01-02-2012 05:31 AM

You going to add a 3rd brake light? As someone that's been tagged pretty hard in the rear in a 911 - I find the stock brake lights woefully inadequate.

Car looks great. Looks like Tony did well selling to you...

Happy New Year Jeremy!

They'll have to catch me before they can hit me:p

Yep, I told Tony before he pass the torch to me that I'd do my best to do it rightSmileWavy

Removing the rear wiper assembly was one of the first "mods" I made to my car when I got it - I always thought it was odd that Porsche would put such a fluff item on their supercar (kind of like the headlight washers) . . . but I guess some would say a/c in a supercar is "fluff" too, and I think of it as a necessity!

Indeed, glad my baby found a new home with someone with both the skills and the budget to put everything back together properly, lol.

Thanks again TonySmileWavy

I don't know about the skills cuz I'm just learning as I go and budget, what budget? Once on the slippery slope all budget ideas are lost:rolleyes:

350HP930 01-02-2012 07:37 AM

I know I will both suprised and relieved when I find out how much you had to spend, minus the interior mods of course, lol.

Capt,

As long as that busted budget pays off in smiles per mile its all good. If you want a $$$$ ROI I think you may be sad.

Dropping the hammer on anybody you want any time you want to, PRICELESS:D

911 tweaks 01-03-2012 09:13 AM
