You don't need a yoke. Tore down and built mine the 1st time on a table.
Is a yoke nice? Yep. But it's not a requirement. |

There is another reason to skip the "T" style engine stands: they are hard to mount a catch pan on top of the legs. With "heavy duty" 2 leg style, you can place a couple of boards across the legs and put your drip pan on top.

True. The only tool I bought that was 100% needed since my homemade one failed was the cam holding tool.
