Yep. Maybe a week or two earlier to give enough time for new oppressive, business-destroying lockdowns to be enacted and riots to ensue at the right time.

Yes, but at least we don't need to live in fear of our pancake syrup being racist anymore.

Such important milestones in our time.

It’s a good thing because I haven’t been able to eat waffles until this gets fixed.

The USA has an absolutely shocking death rate from Covid 19. Why are all you folks making out that it is a giant hoax or a unwarranted panic?

we cant even visit you at this point. we are banned from the UK.

but yea, while i am not taking this as a joke..i dont worry much about how everyone else treats it. it's too big of an issue.

distance, stay away from big gatherings, hand wash. i'd piss on a sparkplug if you told me it would help. .

You do realize that your deaths per million in the UK is nearly double the USA, right?

We have our share of idiots who don't take this thing seriously and help spread the virus in the UK by breaking the rules; I expected better of Pelican forum members, maybe naively.
In one of our cities, lockdown has just been strictly enforced again, with police guarding exit routes. The unconfirmed, so far, rumours are that garment factory owners in this textiles town illegally ordered their workforces to attend the factories whilst the original lockdown was in force causing an untypical high rise in virus cases when everywhere else was having a significant fall in the rate

Look no further than many on this forum for why the US is unable to get the virus under control. We are living in post factual, post science society, and many will die as a consequence.

Because there have been 9 deaths in my county , and I still have not met, or heard of one single person who tested positive
I dont believe it to be a hoax, but it is harder to see it as a pandemic through my lens .

Right now we are sitting at 29 murders to date in Wichita, on track to easily break the record, and 28 CV deaths, almost all at nursing homes. Thousands without work, overall crime is through the roof as a result. Hospitals and clinics laying off healthcare workers because of low demand. Tell me how the cure isn’t worse than the sickness?

Edit: just checked the news, another shooting overnight but they aren’t dead yet.
