Jeez... I'm going to need the Nutshell version of the rules. And then Steve Matchett to explain it to me.

As for the car photo: welcome to Indy Car.

Hopefully it will grow on me. Just a little salty today as it is back to work from a couple of weeks off.

Seems like a good move. I can't imagine working for Lawrence Stroll is all that much fun.

I understand the new philosophy but like simple pictures to see how it will be implemented. I REALLY hope this helps cars be within at least shouting distance to each other.

I wish I had just a sliver of this guy's confidence.

Self awareness - it's totally overhyped, right?

He does seem to have a high level of self appreciation. He was consistently slower, a lot slower than his teammate. And how many times did he spin out and crash all by himself? It must me great to have rich friends willing to back your racing career.

An interesting read on how an exceptional driver can hurt car design:

Are the front tires taller than the rear? Or is it the angle?

I have an itchy feeling that Ham might be talking to Ferrari for a ride this year.

That IMO would be fun to watch.

It would be nice to see him in a car that is not simply dominant. He is a great driver, no doubt but lets see if he can drive a car that is third or fourth best and win.

So, for those of us who don't follow everything Formula One, could someone explain why the car's design seems to change so often, and with that "halo" above the driver, do you think the evolution of the design will one day have this as fully enclosed like a safety pod?
Also, are the cars running bigger wheels now, and lower profile tires?
I haven't really followed F1 since the days of Senna. (RIP Ayrton Senna!)

All I know is, went from 13 inch wheels to 18 inch wheels, still seem to have a lot of sidewall, they look very klunky to me, and once again I like the old way better.

How about in 2012? McLaren P3 in constructors' championship. Kimi finished P3 ahead of Hamilton but LH won 4 races that season (Vs 1 of Kimi's famous win). He holds the record for winning a race in every season and some of his McLarens and his first Mercedes weren't dominant cars.
