F-106! Nice! Were you an ADCOM pilot? Gotta love the century series jets.

some time ago , i dropped some acid, and then a little while later, i decided to skydive in my living room , and went up to mach 4 and landed back on the carpet.

no seriously , my cat told me he had seen it too !

so i beat T-bone.. with overwhelming margin !

My CBR used to come out of the banking just about at the redline in 6th ~145 mph. I would carry that speed down the straight and then turn 1 was nearly pure terror for me. The fast guys would just lift off and fling themselves into the turn.

Me, I hit the brakes and stuck my torso and helmet up into the airstream to slow down. That was quite a wind blast.

I loved the infield portion of the course at TWS, except guard rails kill guys on bikes when they fall. I was much better at slower tracks.

Yamaha RZV500 - That's the alloy framed job, isn't it? I haven't seen one of those for years. I bet it was a hoot when the power cam on.

149 on the BACK of a Suzuki motorcycle. No facemask on helmet, just sunglasses. One eye watered shut at 130 and the other was open just enough to see the speedo. One arm around the driver, the other holding a can of ferret food like a football. Dumb!!

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

nothing to be proud of...

In 1983 a cop clocked me at 135 in a 35 while chasing me after running a stop sign in my chevelle. Man, did I PAY for that one.

I am ashamed to admit that I ran my new C4S thru Death Valley last weekend and could only muster 120MPH due to breakin concerns. My wife likes to go fast!

'88 targa redline 5th gear, 150mph

plenty of other cars between 100 and 120, but that's about it. Nothing too exciting.
