Me, I hit the brakes and stuck my torso and helmet up into the airstream to slow down. That was quite a wind blast. I loved the infield portion of the course at TWS, except guard rails kill guys on bikes when they fall. I was much better at slower tracks. Yamaha RZV500 - That's the alloy framed job, isn't it? I haven't seen one of those for years. I bet it was a hoot when the power cam on. Regards, Jerry Kroeger

149 on the BACK of a Suzuki motorcycle. No facemask on helmet, just sunglasses. One eye watered shut at 130 and the other was open just enough to see the speedo. One arm around the driver, the other holding a can of ferret food like a football. Dumb!!

In 1983 a cop clocked me at 135 in a 35 while chasing me after running a stop sign in my chevelle. Man, did I PAY for that one.

I am ashamed to admit that I ran my new C4S thru Death Valley last weekend and could only muster 120MPH due to breakin concerns. My wife likes to go fast!

'88 targa redline 5th gear, 150mph
plenty of other cars between 100 and 120, but that's about it. Nothing too exciting.
