Well... because " Hi, my name is Craig and I was born in 1959" just seemed to be a little long winded.

I wanted to buck the internet tradition of trying convince everyone that I'm a bodybuilder with a huge penis, so I decided to go the self-degrading route. Plus, I started my onewhippedlittlepuppy email account right when my wife and I got married, I was the first of my friends to take the leap, and of couse got plenty of the whipped comments, so I ran with it. It irritates her too, added bonus.

Years ago, before GPS, wandering in a remote part of the Desolation Valley wilderness we stumbled across a small group of backpackers that were thoroughly and hopelessly lost. They were cold, tired and had no food. We had enough food to share for a few days, but leading them out the quickest route required an all-day uphill off-trail climb through brambles, madrona thickets and shale.

About 6 hours into the adventure, one of the lost hikers whispered to one of my friends, "Does he know where the hell he's going?" My friend said, "Sure! He's like Moses. He'll get you to the promised land." The lost hiker responded, "I hope it doesn't take 40 fukking years!"

After that, I was Moses.

My user name? Lets see if I can explain it.....

I have a Chrysler Conquest. It's blue in color. And the year it was made was 1988. The Conquest was Turbo, it's Sporty and has an intercooler, so the letters T S and i were placed on the back by the designers.

Now given the limits on how long a username on a bulletin board can be, I chose to shorten the above paragraph to merely read as 88BlueTSiQuest.

One of my Favorite 80's sportscars. They were way before their time. Amazingly fast and looked so very mean. My 2nd choice if I had not found the Turbo RX-7 I was looking for. I almost bought a Starquest about a year ago to build into a SCCA AutoX car.

Was based in Singapore for 3 years at the height of the dotcom boom, and found that email was easier and cheaper to use for comms than the phone.

Well ten years ago I was close to six and a half feet tall and weighed in at a 150lbs, I was a stick (now I am a keg ). Combine that with my last name you get chapstick, one of my nicknames. However in college, you were limited to 8 characters in your email address, hence chapstic. It stuck, no pun.

I bought my P-car in 2001....
