or alternatively.... also making this thread relevant for this forum...

i bought this porsche on ebay recently and am not quite getting the hp figures stated in the manual and accelaration isnt what i expected, but fuel consumption has been brilliant for my first 5000 miles (at welll over 5000 miles per gallon) but my battery keeps going dead - is it an alternator problem? - can anyone help?

lol :-)

It's hard to imagine this car actually made it to production. Couldn't someone have atleast spoken up and said that maybe they should spend a little more money in the design phase before dropping the ton of money to put it into production.

That car almost makes the Pontiac Aztec look good...almost.

Citroens are ugly but still cool in a quirky kind of way.

yeah its amazing. it's also amazing that people spend hard earned cash and buy them!
i'm with dutchie on the citroen though. but a lot of u.s. cars in the late 70s are cool even with burt reynolds in them...

I think some corporations are just into the look of things too much, that is why I say Dodge is ugly. Going down the road and a dodge comes at you, they all just about look the freakin same! From the Viper to the Ram truck they all have that damn ugly front end. Yes I know Audi has this trend going as well, but could you imagine the Mustang with a truck grill? And I am not a Mustang fan either.

The Rodius is certainly one of the top three worst-looking cars ever. On the yukometer it goes right up through ugly, accelerates hard (for the only time) through 'so ugly it's cool' and blasts through the cool ceiling into a whole new world of milk-souring unattractiveness.

I hadn't heard of the Aztec, just googled it - OMG

I've had two '77 big block Caddys & quite like that era of Americana.

its so horrible from every angle and it's little wheels just make it worse.

This is officially the ugliest car I've ever seen... perhaps because it, like the 996, marks the death of a legend? I mean the '06s and '07s looked bad... but the '08 wrxs look like PT cruisers took advantage of a suzuki and this is their bastard offspring... the new rear suspension is not worth it.

That and the Turbo Trans Am are probably my fave late 70s domestics. Unfortunately as you probably know almost all those cars were used, abused and rusted away,
