"The Piano" won 3 Oscars, confirming the academy has lost its senses.

This movie has everything I hate. Long "artistic" silences, a defocused script and Harvey Keitel full frontal nudity.

Sit through it. I dare you.

I thought the movie was sweet, the action/fighting scenes were great, especially in Imax

Snakes on a Plane was horrible, made temporarily bearable by the astonishingly wonderful body on the blond getting cratch slapped in the bathroom.

300 was pretty lame, too....At least the masses cries of "THIS IS SPARTA!" at every opportunity have died down. I really, really hate people who do that. Really.

Lord of the Rings put me into a coma, and I'd sooner disembowel myself than watch Harry Potter. The LOTR books were so good it was a mockery to make the movies.

I recall the "Saw" series of movies being mind blowingly lame.

I seem to have repressed most memories of bad movies...lucky me.

I saw it when if first came out, and the weed worked. Lots of movies were good then but now you can't watch them at all.

Speaking of movies that are only good while using copious amounts of drugs...

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas--a movie about taking copious amounts of drugs.

bladerunner!?! blasphemer! you have to watch the original theatrical release. the directors cut (crap) and the final cut (crappier) are not worth the plastic they are printed on.

Could not sit through either one of those. Glad it did not cost me anything more than time, which is bad enough

You have got to be kidding me.

Bladerunner is one of the BEST dark sci-fi's out there. Like another poster said, the original version with the Harrison Ford voice overlays ties it all together.

Being a Highlander myself, if you count heritage...
and former knife and sword maker, to boot...

First one good, second one suck, third one "meh" but much better than the second...
TV show was horrid. I hated it.

"A I" with weepy eyed Haley Joe Osment is one of my least favorite. Feels like its filmed in real time. I actually have never seen the movie in its entirety and will catch new parts here and there when I change channels. (And I'm changing them fast). What factors I use to consider a movie terrible or awful is the budget and actors involved. Sure you can make a crappy movie for next to nothing and starring nobody. When you pay people 10's of millions for the same thing, they deserve to have things thrown at them.

No alcohol involved. But there should have been some.
WaterWorld wasn't good
Istar or whatever it was, was bad

This was as bad as I can remember.
Yup: Logged my first post of 2006 with that steaming pile:

I saw the second one in the theater in college. I didn't understand it. My friends who were fans tried to explain that it was really a bridge movie between the 1st and 3rd. Whatever. Anyway, I think they knew it was so bad, the DVD actually only has a "renegade" director's cut version.
