Really, aren't a huge number of these related??

The Torque-thrust D, Cragar SS and Fuchs are extremely similar as well as many other copies. I suspect that some of them were patterned after the others. So which came first. I think there was even an old Lotus racecar that had wheels that looked pretty much the same except for no holes. So it seems that several of these wheels have common roots.

Even the BBS mesh wheels, of which there were innumerable copies appear to me to be trying to look like old wire wheels.
