'56 Speedster vs. '70 917

As some here know, I make clothing for boys and always run a racing theme each season, having the great fortune to work with a few talented Pelicans helping with design. I'm always getting requests for adult versions of our Ts and therefore am starting to offer Porsche-inspired artwork for us all.

Working with artist Nicolas Hunziker, we've taken one of his paintings, a tribute to the Redman/Siffert 917 raced at Spa in 1970, and translated it to a medium gray lightweight, 100% cotton T. Here is the original painting.

and here is the shirt, shown in large. Note that this is a test shirt and production shirts will pop with the Gulf colors.

You can see more of Nicolas' work here: http://nicolashunziker.com/

I'm also offering a '56 Speedster in 3 colors. 2 of the shirts, Mustard and Spruce are pigment dyed for that washed and worn in look. I added a basic T in desert sage as the navy ink really pops on these lighter colors. All three are XL's.

Sizes available include S, M, L, XL, and XXL.

The 917 shirt is $25 + shipping (can ship overseas).

The Speedster shirt is $20 + shipping.

If you would like to order, simply paypal me at shaun@littletravelerusa.com please note which shirts you want, size and ship to address.

if you would like to send a check or pay by credit card, please email be with a phone number and I'll give you a call.

Thank you!

PS: if you have any ideas on what you would like to see, please let me know.

Great shirts! I remember seeing the Speedster shirt in one of your other posts. Now I have to talk the wife into letting me buy a shirt or two.

How long are these shirts going to be available for purchase Shaun? Just curious as I am trying to limit my cash outflows at the moment, but if this is a limited time offer I will most likely bite.

Jared,

I tried different colors with the 917 and that grey was by far the best. I can do a heather grey and lighter silver gray for you. The Gulf colors need neutral background.

Garrett, good question. I'm running production on April 14.

Isn't life funny? Considering G9 Girl and the fact that success was right under your nose all along. Nice shirts!

Shaun, do you do short runs of various things, old bikes and cars on shirts and sell them out fast as possible to reduce inventory, or do you have a stock of shirts laying around?

Do you have a website or something?

Thom, got your paypal and have made notes, thank you.

Mike, email sent, thanks.

Toby, I have done special things for special people in the past, like Hugh who took pics of his Rudge for me and Steve/David are slated for an Iron Beast as soon as I can run the wide format film a little easier. Little Traveler is seasonal (Spring/Fall) and shirts are made to orders placed, locally here in Boston. I've just started doing men's (and will get into women's soon) and am starting with the Porsche community and will be doing shirts to orders placed with a little overage for eBay, etc. I wish I had the time to set up a web site, and administer it, but am already putting in consistent 80 hour weeks. I'm going to get some interns for this summer.

Milt, life is funny, but truly what you make of it. I am only successful (and that word must be used loosely here) through a lot of hard work, but more so with the help from friends (I have the best friends in the world) and a lot of luck.

Damn Shawn, that's nice. Are these for adults or kids? I normally don't buy any of my son's clothes, but I may have to buy him one of those.

Matt, these are for adults. We need cool shirts too!

Thanks John, got it. I'm going to post measurements later today. the 917 shirt is a "fashion fit" that is it fits, whereas the other Ts are looser on the body.

I like to pimp out the kids. Me, I'm too old and fat to worry about.
