They were always at night though. There were a lot of places around the lake to park and watch from.

They have since put in jogging trails and restaurants around the lake so there aren't nearly as many parking spots.
When I first moved to OKC one of my buddies had a Mercedes 450 SL and it was a nice day. He said "let's drive over to lake Holder-closer and drive the lake road" road, so I hopped in the passenger seat. We drove around the lake and it was nice to see. I had no idea it was there. It was several years before I found out the lake was really named Lake Overholser.

I just ran over to my partners house to start the computer on a project and on the way back stopped for some bananas at Braum's. There was a man in line buying 3 rolls of sausage meat and some milk. He saw me look at his sausage, WAIT, it ain't like that!

Um, I looked at his grocery order and he said he has two little sausage monkeys at home. His two 3 year old grand daughters were staying with them and each girl had eaten a pound of sausage for breakfast. They are cousins and both love sausage for breakfast evidently. It must be great to be the grandparents and feed em whatever, and let the parents deal with the results.

Got back from the foot doc. Evidently some dress shoes I have don't do well with my feet. Got pressure sore on the top of each foot. Doc says don't wear shoes till it heals up. And give those dress shoes to Good Will. Going to be interesting going to the next few IT meetings in stocking feet when it is freezing outside.

I hope you got a note from the doctor or a prescription for no shoes.

Get some soft moccasins.

He said even slippers would go over the top of my foot and rub on the sores. Need to get some of those sock things with a leather moccasin sole on just the bottoms of them. Like this...

A friend of mine is a professional welder. He has his own business, and has designed and builds a trailer that is all customized for trenchers and boring utility lines under roads and such. He is super busy. He bought a 5x10 foot computer controlled cutting table. He is a welder not a computer person. Now he is stuck trying to figure out the steps involved in drawing a whatever in HyCAD and then saving the DWG file and getting that into his cutting program. I am going to attempt to help him, but first I have to figure out HyCAD. It is a free CAD program for simple designs.

First step is design some object that can be cut out of steel or aluminum or whatever metal. I may make up something with our business logo and have that cut out and powder-coated. Hmmm, what to build, what to build.

Any ideas?

"PORSCHE" from aluminum and polish.

You could do a 1 layer Porsche logo. Guy with a sign cutter did that in frosted vinyl for the wind stop on my Boxster. Don't know if it can do the detail of the STUTTGART in the logo.

The Porsche logo in layers tacked together. The back layer bead blasted to rough it up and colored darker and lighter for the red and black areas, then the rest a second layer polished to make the outline the name the horse, etc. That would be some fancy cutting with the horsey and elk horns. Like the steering wheel logo above.

A Dachshund outline that could be used as a shoe scraper by the door.

Outline of the Carrera.

One of those naked lady silhouettes like on semi mud flaps.

I would have to do a HUGE logo to get the Stuggart to be there. It cuts a steel, and the kerf is about a 16th inch or so, even if it was 1/32 it would have to be a big logo to have detail.

And it has to be in a vector format, DWG or DXF file.

1/16 mabey we can work with that. How tall and wide can this thing cut?
You could make the STUTTGART a cut out instead of trying to outline the letters Same with the horsey and antlers. Even the Porsche at the top. Can you convert illustrator or eps to dxf or dwg?

Would try to put someting together to see how small I could get it but am blind right now.

Went to foot doc this morning and told to do my best Joe Jackson impression, go shoeless. Went to eye doc this aftenon, got a shot and am basically blind. Got my 27in screen set to 1024. Big Everything. Probably take a T3 and sleep it off.

Stijn!!

The table is 5x9 not inches, feet. I am sure a 5x9 sheet of steel is pricy and a bit overkill for my needs or wants.

Pretty much any vector file can be imported after it gets into a vector format.

Interesting to see just how big the logo would be. Probably a wall size as opposed to a desk size.

Good Morning.

Phoning in my meeting today because of the shot yesterday making me legally blind.

Taking the T3 last night...slept like a log.
Passed out on the couch watching a movie I don't remember anything about.
Pepper woke me up at 4:30 saying "move over" for me to make room for her at my feet on the couch.
Then again at 6:30 saying "I want out."
I think dogs don't communicate in English better just because people don't listen and encourage them to try to pronounce things better. Or it could just be the T3 talking.

Good Hump day day.

So no shoes and no vision is no way to go to work.

My wife goes in today for laser eye surgery. It is a minor zap of a cloudy area that formed after her cataract surgery. It should be routine and quick.

Based on my experience saving my foot, and fixing my eyesight I'm pretty trusting of the current abilities of the health care industry.

Hoping Mrs Carrera does NOT experience any unforeseen complications!

It is the same eye surgeon that did the cataract surgery. Same eye doc I go to for my vision checks.

Have two eye docs. One regular, and one specialist. The specialist, Shah does all the macular, retina and cadillac stuff. Thought it was pretty neat that he got me in on the retinopathy study that got me paid to get my eyes treated instead of having to pay. The shots they were putting in each eye once a month was $1200 a shot and I got $25 a shot instead.

So, do I need to put Stabil in my law mower, weed eater, and lawn gas tanks, or just empty them all, or put stabil in the equipment, then run it dry??

Hadn't used them for 2 years, Had them all empty. Had to fill everything so I could use it once this year so I wouldn't get a lawn needs mowed ticket. My lawn guy/nephews kid wasn't every dependable this year.

Sure would like to find a lawn kid that did as good of a job as I did when I was doing lawns.

I cuss at Windows 10 and some of the stupid things it does. However, with no doubt at all, iTunes is the worst piece of software I have used since the 1980s.

What a total POS.

I fought with it for over an hour just to get a favorites list and iTunes on the computer is hopeless for that. I built a shorter list from the phone, but no way to edit that on the computer. Of course it will not even let you look at the photos on my phone in iTunes.

They had to try real hard to make it that user UN-friendly.

I've always made my playlists on my computer and they appear on my phone just fine.
But my music is synced with everything iTunes, Iphone, laptop, iCloud and AppleTV they all use the same iTunes/Apple ID.

Should I try installing iTunes on my Win10?

Also the Apple app for the photos is Photos, not iTunes.
When I connect my iPhone to my Mac it automatically opens Photos and brings up the new photos on my iPhone that have not been uploaded to my computer Photos.
